1 bedroom at Saratoga Springs

How many people can a 1 bedroom at Saratoga Springs accommodate? There will be 5 of us (2 adults, 3 children...ages 13, 11, and 8). I have read only 4 adults but I have also seen online that they would accommodate a 5th guest if they brought their own bedding (air mattress) and linens. Not sure what is correct info and I don't want to "beat" the system...I'm a rule follower We tried to find a 2 bedroom but there is nothing available for the week that we need it! Thanks!

It's my understanding that DVC members booking on points can have a 5th person in some of the 1BR if you bring your own bedding, but that option is not available for cash guests. Not sure if SSR is one of the resorts that allows 5.

DVC members and cash guests can put 5 in 1BRs at BLT, AKV, OKW and VGF because they have pull-down beds or sleeper chairs.

Have you considered a family suite at All Star Music? It's a value resort as opposed to a Deluxe but we stay there when we have our son with us because you get two separate rooms and two bathrooms for a much smaller price tag than a suite at a deluxe. The main room has a sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair so it would accommodate 5 without having to deal with where to put the 5th person.

On cash, SSR accommodates 4. Points and RCI can have 5. Disney will not provide a fifth bed.

A 1 bedroom only has a king bed and a pullout couch.

We stay there via RCI and while they won't provided bedding, they will send you 5 magic bands.

There is plenty of room in the room for a 3rd kids on an air mattress. (but you have to bring it)

But that only works for timeshare reservations, not cash reservations through Disney Reservation Center or other cash reservation locations. And Vacation Strategy sells illegal RCI trades if they have a DVC reservation available.

I stayed with 3 of my girlfriends in a SSR 1BR last October- I made my own bed/bedroom using the cushions from the pullout couch, placed next to door that connected to the room next door. With this configuration, 2 could be in bedroom, 2 in pullout couch, 1 in "bedroom corner". I am petite (5 feet), but this could totally work with kids.

This was my first villa stay. I don't know if the layout in all 1BR villas are the same or not.
