Hello All,

It's been a few years since I followed and posted here. I'm trying to plan a trip later in year for a group of family during the Christmas season.

It used to be the case that you could book a room via the website for a single adult, and then add other guests add check-in for the same room (based on room limits). This was useful when holding Annual Passports.

Does the "trick" still work, and is it still of benefit over using the AP room booking discounts?.

I suspect as I try and remember all the pros/cons/tricks etc I might have a few more questions please.

Thank you

Iain

It still works at the moment but as from end of March there are changes to packages and its been rumoured that they may stop people being able to do this - theres nothing definite yet though.
As from end of March breakfast is no longer included in the price of your room and you have to pay for it (think you can pay daily) or buy it as part of a meal plan. Anyone who is not booked into the room before arrival won't be able to get the meal plan (as unless they are change it you have to buy them a few days before arrival)

There are also rooms with a King bed instead of 2 doubles so you also run the risk that if they think you are a single occupant they will give you a room with one bed and if the hotel is full then you run the risk of not getting a room big enough

I've always emailed or phoned ahead to say that I am bringing AP holders or other ticket holders as well as the number of guests booked for, to make sure that I get the right number of beds in the room.
