1/9/03 just returned - sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just returned from what was supposed to be a 3 night cruise followed by 3 nights at the polynesian. My son and I went down for the count first - sick stomach flu Sat, missed Triton dinner. The nurse never called. On Sunday we went to the Polynesian he stayed in bed Sunday and Monday. Monday night my mother and 2 year old got sick and they were in bed. He until Wednesday and her until today Thursday. We stayed another day to try to make the best of a horrendous trip.

Sorry you were sick on your cruise. Unfortunately stomach viruses are common this time of year.

On this note, has anyone read the WDW trip report where the family started to get sick the night before they left home and continued to throw up the whole way to and at WDW? Unbelievable. Obviously it's contagious if everyone in their family came down with the bug. It makes me wonder how many people were on their flight who then went on to cruise with 3000 other people and pass it along to poor people like M1/2K3.

I hope that you get a chance to cruise again, sorry for your troubles!
