1/28/07 Closing in Let them Eat Cake - Green Cake (for Q's bday)

It was a fun Sunday in vmk. It was spent with new friends and old friends. Fun, pirates, host games, and laughter.

This day was a bit different though - it was Qruthie's birthday.

She gives to others every chance she can, without ever asking for anything in return. In fact, she is not easy to gift - if you have ever tried. She will help anyone any chance she gets. And when asked who she wanted at her birthday closing - she said, "Just open the door and let the public in." It could not have been more fitting that the first 1 through the door after that was a Guest, who Q welcomed.

They say your worth is not measured by your possessions, but by your friends. That would be the proof that Q is truly a diamond in the ruff. There was a line out the door tonight of people wanting to celebrate with Q (and this was the 3rd party of the day!!!).

Today, so many wanted to let her know what she means to them. She was in VMK parties throughout the day. Q - you truly are one of the people that makes the world a better place - and it shows in how you play in a simple game.

The night ended with green cake - and a birthday wish with a candle on the cake.

Sweet Green Cake Dreams Q! You rock!

Thank you all for your kind words, good wishes, great parties, over the top gifts and especially your friendship. I am truly honored to have received so much attention on my birthday.

I'm still on after all of the attention! Three birthday rooms! It was like New Year's Eve all over again! And so many people in the game stopped by to say Happy Birthday to me!

Jegrezo for creating a wonderful party room with not only a green cake but also with big shoes and cups! You spent the day trying to figure out what to give me as a gift and secretly worked on this room while attending the other parties. I don't know how you did it! I'm glad I found you before closing because your room was the perfect place to do our closing dancing! Thank you for being a great friend, making me laugh and for the super closing party!
