1/2 to Full???

Hi All,

I registered early for the 2010 1/2 marathon, knowing how fast it typically fills up. Well, now I am thinking that I can pull off a full marathon and would like to register for this as well. So, my question is, what happens to my 1/2 registration if I register for the full? I know I cannot receive a refund, but I also do not want to take up a spot that somebody else could probably use. Do we know if Disney takes all the cancellations and if they receive enough, open it back up to the general public?

Any thoughts?

My DH was also going to switch up his 1/2 for a full and we were told we need to just pay the $5 and send them a letter in writing by either Sept 1st or before the full fills up. They never answered what happens to his original 1/2 slot when we asked

Send an email to DisneySports@TrackShack.com and explain that you want to upgrade. I did that in 2006 for the first Goofy. I had signed up for the 5K and Marathon and than they created the Goofy. I was able to transfer the 5K funds to the 1/2. And the rest is history.................
