I have never been to the World during the Holidays before but the opportunity has come up for me to be in the Orlando area on December 17th :cool1:

I will be in Tampa for a surprise birthday party for my Aunt on December 16th and heading back home early Sunday morning. As I haven't been to Disney in almost 2 years, I hate to drive right past and not stop :moped:

I will have about 5 hours before I have to head for home. I really hate to spend the money for one day pass.

How should I spend my time? I really want to see the fabulous decorations I have been hearing about. Does Downtown Disney decorate for the Holidays? Which resort,if any, are a must to check out?

TIA

If you can't go to MK, where the best Christmas decorations are, you should hit the Grand Floridian and see how decked out it is. Very nice.

I don't remember DTD being that decorated.

Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge have the tallest trees in their spacious atriums.

GF also has the "life-sized" genuine Gingerbread House in the atrium.
