I'll e-mail you when I get home tomorrow.

I know I'll be at the Port by 10 a.m. for sure.

you should be able to get off the ship go thru customs and swipe your passport and then just around the corner and back on the ship again, after you check in again.

Let's home they haven't changed that since we did it recently.

If you are in the terminal at 10 a.m., I'll be over by Conceire waiting, as that is where I go to wait now.

Kay...That sounds like a plan...We will be getting off, and then getting right back on(I believe) Not too sure how that works. Let me know where you want to meet, and we will be there! Its just myself and boyfriend, Tim.

Have fun with DCL House party! I'm curious about them, so let me know the details of what Disney sent!

Good morning Member Cruisers
We sail in 34 weeks!

Mimi - I haven't seen any statistics about childless travelers but I can tell you that the DVC Member Cruises usually have a much smaller group of children on board than a regular DCL cruise. Here's the group picture from 2003. The adults are in blue and the kids are in yellow:

Interesting! We were amazed by the seemingly low percentage in that picture. Mack and I were talking about it and had never seen any statistics regarding the demographics of the cruisers concerning children. Our next Disney cruise will have to include our kiddos. They have some green eyes over this one! Thanks for the information!

Oh - given we can manage to stay in our cabin long enough to even think about room service late at night or early in the morning (with all the special speakers we are anticipating) does anyone have any favorite items from room service? Also are there any food item secrets? For example, can one ask for the Kona Cafe's Tonga Toast on board? Or are there things you can ask for but arent' on the menu?

I've never heard of them offering Tonga Toast on board. One favorite with a lot of DISers from room service is a late night Mickey bar! :mickeybar There are usually some yummy treats in the case up in Cove Cafe. I've gotten stollen bread from there before (without the cream or jam from Palo).

interesting, I have never been in Cove Cafe since I don't like coffee!!!! I will have to check it out this time.

I am JUST NOW getting home and it is 10:40 pm here in Ft. Laud.

UGh!!! long 23 hours to get home - but financially good.

Volunteered twice and got $400 each and $21 in food vouchers. They put me up in a hotel last night, but didn't sleep - but all is over now and everything is good.

Linda will probably tell you about the DCL Party a lot more.

IT WAS GREAT. She did an awesome job. We both have pics and I won't post them until she posts about it. If she posts the pics, I won't, as we have the same ones.

I have to get some sleep and then many things to do tomorrow.

Glad to hear you are home. Get some rest. Is Shelby home? Give her a belly rub from me and get some sleep.

no, I will get her in the am.

that is one reason I almost hesitated about getting home after the Dr. closed today at 6 pm.

But I thought the $400 the 2nd time was good.

They told me today she was doing good.

Good morning everyone - happy Monday!

Joanne I don't drink coffee either but love the Cove Cafe. I used to use the internet up there as it was never as crowded as the internet cafe. They have a nice little case that is help yourself to cookies, cakes, etc. I've gotten a cup of tea down at the drink station, then a piece of stollen breat at Cove Cafe and sat out in those big wicker chairs. A nice way to start the day.

Mary its great to see your feeling better. Just taking a look at the photos. I see that Joan hasen't been added yet. Come on Mrs L we need your picture.
Well guys at this time last year Nanc a I were in Treasure Island freezing. I see by Accu Weather this morning its 40 in both ST PETE and ORLANDO.
Nanc and I had a grea time at the Celtics game friday at the Garden. The C's won by one point. We got home about 1:00AM. We took bus out of Portland that takes groups to games.Couldn't beat the price $66.00 per person and that icluded your ticket.
Yesterday was a usual Sunday Hockey. Our grandson had a game at 8 yesterday morning and one at 5:00 yesterday.
Another weeks starts closer to Cruise Time.
Everybody have a great day.

Good morning Dan. It isn't Joanne's fault it is mine. Didn't get the website updated like I wanted. My focus this past weekend was on our April cruise so I never got to the Member Cruise stuff. Hopefully I will in the next couple of days. Please be patient with me. :) I have updates for a couple of people. Will post when everything is updated.

Take your time girl I know you and Mark are busy just like everybody else. I was just looking at the pictures and noticed Joan an Rog were missing. I know you by now girl it will be up to snuff in very short order.
The Cafe you and Joan were talking about is that on deck 10? I know we must have seen it in the past 2 cruises mary.

Morning,

Dan the Cove Cafe is right by the adult pool. There are nice wicker chairs right outside, but sometimes they are full of smokers, so I walk very quickly through that area. I will make that a thing to do this time. You guys are very busy up there in the cold.

I also am fighting the crud. I slept most of the week end away.......

Have a great Monday.

I hope you feel better Joan. Just think Seneraity Bay in Sept setting in the water 80degree water with a nice cold drink of the day.
I better get back to my Honey do list. Got to vaccume the stairs and foyer.
Nanc did the upstairs already.
Catch you later.

good morning eveyrone:

what a good thing to sleep in your own bed. ha ha

I am busy this morning getting things ready for tomorrow's election.

Picked Shelby up this morning.

OMGosh - the growth on her neck came back and is larger than EVER, EVER.

Dr. said it would do no good to take it out again, - yea - after all the $$'s I spent now - and just to leave it alone. My heart hurts everytime I see it. I can't walk her now 'cause the lease is right under it and I don't want to hurt her and I don't know if it hurts or now. But she doesn't wimper or anything.

I'll just have to do the best that I can.

As far as Cove Cafe, I might walk thru on that side, but that is all. I hold my breath so that I don't inhale any of the fumes..................

Hope everyone has a great day.

Trust me I understand about Cove Cafe being a smokers hangout. When I talk about sitting there and enjoying the wicker chairs it is usally after my walk around deck 4 which is early in the morning. I've been lucky and haven't encountered smokers there at that time. Later in the day and into the evening it does have a number of smokers hanging around which I tend to avoid (even though I grew up in a household with a smoker).

Inside Cove Cafe is smoke free and there are some wonderful cushy chairs and also some listening stations.

Okay, I'll post real fast about the party, and then Kay you can post whatever pics you want since I'm at work and don't have them with me. The party turned out great. We had 25 people and 1 call in from our friends Scott and Lynn.

We played Disney Trivia and I told about Ducky and then everyone drew a Mickey and we had prizes. The kids colored pictures and then we ended up giving them all the goofy pirate bandanas that DCL sent in the box. I have a poster that Ducky did for the 35th anniversary of WDW and it has 35 hidden Mickeys, so everyone looked and if they found the 35 they put their names in for another drawing.

Then we ate food, then ate more food, and I had wonderful chocolate covered strawberries that were really good. Except I never had one because they were all gone! I made Mickey Rice Krispy treats too. That was fun. Kay has never made rice krispy treats. I gave her the recipe off the cereal box. She liked eating them when they were warm right off the stove!

I gave each family a gift bag to take home and it has a bunch of stuff I threw in like DCL shampoo, cond. etc., and the DCL cruise brochure, some pins, stickers, and then I had giant hershey bars which I created a custom cover for based around DCL.

Then I had the picture that DCL sent from Ducky and I framed it Saturday and then everyone had their welcome aboard photo taken in front of it. Then I emailed everyone their picture after the party.

I think I about covered it. Kay...did I miss anything?
