What grade do you teach?
I know! Did my taxes last year to find out, "guess what honey? We can't claim college exspenses on our taxes...Just ordered next year's curriculum. $305.That's just for Grumpy. We reuse it for Stitch. Plus, I bought him a set of PC and Game programing curriculum. That's another $85. But, at least he's excited about that stuff. Wish I could get a tax credit for all of this.

We homeschool. So, all grades.Grumpy will be 11th and Stitch 9th.
That's wonderful!I offered that to our girls and they said, "No way!" You know how girls are, such social butterflies.

It really stinks paying for 100% of my own kids education and then paying to send other kids to school too. I'm not asking to get out of PS taxes forever. I just want a credit of what I spend to go toward my tax bill. I don't think it's too much to ask.![]()
There's a used curriculum sale coming up in the next couple of weeks, locally. I'm going to sell some of our old curriculum and hopefully make some Disney Dollars!
True, true, true. I'm glad it has worked out for you, you're a great mom!It has its ups and downs. But, it's worked out well for us. I'm just glad there are lots of options out there for kids of all sorts.
I agree, so even if they went to a traditional public high school on Oregon would there still be additional exspenses?
