Great morning to you too, Michael! Although it is very overcast and gloomy here in the Chicago land area. Hopefully it will get better as the day goes on. How is it up by you?

It was sunny and bright when I got up just before 7. Now the clouds have moved in and the high will be about 70.

It really is handy. I love it. It is so fast and you can change the date, nights, etc....just like that.

I've got all sorts of independent stores running rewards programs. They love them. It is much cheaper to keep a customer than it is to pick up a new one. As a matter of fact it is 9 times cheaper!

I wonder if the same goes for spouses? You should design and market a rewards program for spousal loyalty! But you would need some sort of enforcement to go along with that so the spouse will pay up though.

So, we texted our family yesterday and invited them all over for a cookout at our house today. The forecast for today was thunderstorms in the morning and sunny the rest of the day.

Then the forecast changed to thunderstorms in the afternoon. So I texted everyone this morning and said we weren't going to cook out. Then, seriously, five minutes later the forecast changed and showed sunny skies from 4-7. So I texted them all again and said we were back on for the cook out.

Then we got tornado warnings! But those expire here in about ten minutes. BUT....we were getting things ready for the crawl space in case we had to go down there and guess what! IT'S FLOODED!!!!

Honestly, it just never ends! Sometimes I seriously think about selling my house and renting. That way the landlord is responsible for everything that goes wrong. But then I'd have the of WAITING for the landlord to fix things. LOL So I guess there's never really the "perfect" solution, is there? I'm just glad I married such a handy man!!!!

I hope you're all having a great Memorial Day weekend! I hope our troops all over the world know that we are all thinking about them and the sacrifices they are making (and have made) are very much appreciated!
