Goodnight folks...
Thanks JuniorCongrats Mike!!
Thanks Junior
Glad you can go to bed and have a happy ending![]()
Morning everyone. I have come to the conclusion that I won't be able to get anotheror
because I need my sleep! At least there weren't as many pages to catch up on this morning as there was yesterday. Glad to see you finally got one Junior. Can't believe our Chicago DISmeet is just 2 weeks away.
Can't wait to meet Terrie and Wally and see the rest of you we met in February (I think it was Feb).
Happy Birthday!!!![]()
Well our plans have changed again. We won't be able to make the Dis Meet in Chicago. I had two contractors announce that they are quiting while I was on my cruise week before last. So with my major network upgrade projects going on I am going to be working every weekend for the forseeable future. Good news is thats all the more money we will have for excursions on the cruise in September.
Shawn also is working every weekend as her part time job called her back to work so we kind of had a double whammy.
Would have really like to meet up with everyone, unfortunately we won't be able to. You all have a good time, and we will be thinking of you all while we are working.![]()
There's not a day that goes by that I don't say something about moving!!! I even told her that on the same amount we make now, we would bring home 5-10 thousand more because of your very low property taxes and no state income tax.I guess I just need to make more $$$ somehow so i can make it happen or tie her up and throw her in the trunk and make a bee line for FL, that's all.

A major factor in establishing fire insurance rates is how well equipped the fire dept. is. For example, my local (volunteer) dept. has 3 "Pumper" Trucks, one 150' "Ladder" Truck, one Heavy Rescue Unit, 2 ALS ambulances, one SCUBA/Cold Water Rescue unit. etc. A typical FDNY house (paid) has maybe one "Ladder" and one "Pumper" Truck. Some only have one unit. Even if the insurance is based on two houses being close to each other, it still is only 3-4 vehicles maximum.
Well she also didn't mention we have a 1% capped property tax here in Indiana. But we have a 3.4 % state income tax rate and a 1.11 % county income tax rate as well. I thnk I would trade the higher insurance in Fl in place of the income tax rates here.
How'd the cookout work out? Happy Memorial Day everyone!!!
Sounds like a fair deal...for Debbie![]()
There are a few fees here and there. Like for gym or something and sports (optional). But, the fees don't come close to what I end up paying.
I know, huh?
Maybe we can give a shout out to Debbie...
