With the formal announcement made about Disney setting sail from NY and Galveston TX there are a lot of happy Texans and New Yorkers today. We live 45 minutes from Galveston so we are amongst the happiest today.

And the cruises to Alaska will be going out of Seattle. Seattle's just a four hour drive for me!! Of course, I don't think we'll be able to afford another cruise that early in 2012. But, it's nice to dream!! Or would that be wonder?

Deb says that my for my 40th b-day she is gonna take me on an Alaskan Disney cruise. We always fly in a day early and get a hotel but maybe we could stay at your stunning, blue wire on cream siding 5 star abode. Does it offer free breakfast? That's always the selling point on a hotel for us!

Oh yeah, great curb appeal! Funny thing is, we rented this house before we bought it. When we first drove up to look at the house (to rent it) I knew it surely had to be rewired like that for high speed internet. So, it was a "plus" for me. Now that we own it, I'm less than thrilled that they strung cable up on the outside of the house.

Just think. If there is a fire at your house and you're up high, you can always grab ahold of the highly visible blue wire and swing or slide to safety!

Me too! Being an only child sucks! My sons would disagree with that statement though.

I love cooking breakfast! I make biscuits, gravy, sausage and eggs and mix it all together. Sometimes I make balogna, or spam, on toast with Miricle Whip, American cheese and a fried egg. That is a great sandwich. Yes! I'm a hill-billy!

I've never tried spam. And my DH makes disgusting gagging noises every time he sees Miracle Whip. So, I don't keep it in the house anymore. But, I'd be willing to give your hill-billy sandwich a whirl!

I was an only child till I was 12. That is way too much of a difference in age to be close. Add the fact that her dad died when she was 2 1/2 I became more of a father figure than a brother but we get along pretty good though. Sometimes she's more afraid to tell me something than to tell our mom out of fear that I'll yell at her.

The key to a spam sandwich is to cut it thin. You want to taste the spam but you don't want it to overpower the sandwich with it's thickness. Then you scramble the egg till it's all yellow then fry it with salt and pepper. Assemble like so... Toast, miracle whip, egg, spam or balogna, cheese and other piece of toast.
