Cat5e is done! I have some electrical and a cable line to run then build a shelving unit with adjustable shelves to organize the closet and have something to put the routers on. Then woo hoo :cool1: I'll be done!

Want to come do my house next? I think we have Cat5 already strung all over the outside of the house. Really pretty blue up against the cream colored paint. That attaches to each of our phone jacks and those are doubled up, but only the top jack works for the phone. I wish I was smart enough to know how to get it switched over for our computers. We only need one phone jack in the house after all.

GOOD MORNING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,
BOYS AND GIRLS!
You SET SAIL IN 24 WEEKS! THAT IS 171 DAYS!

Just trying to help Marsha out, even if I don't know her! :hippie:

I don't think you want to mess with a good thing. I mean that blue on cream is a good color combo and I'm sure when you go to sell the house, that's the curb appeal that gets it sold. :rotfl:

YOU MUST LIVE NOT TO FAR FROM WALDEN GALLERIA? MAYBE THE NEXT TIME WE ARE OVER THERE WE CAN SAY HELLO:thumbsup2

Yea, we are only like 15 minutes from The Galleria Mall.
The next time you come over, just let us know. We'll figure out a time to meet up or grab a bite to eat.

i may have driven thru your neighbourhood just after that freak snow ice storm a couple years back in oct. We were coming back from annapolis, someone tols us the i90 was closed. We couldnt beleive it. We drove all along hwy 20 past bufalo and came up thru sub divisions and arrived at the galleria. Once we got past buffalo it was just raining. It was a fri i think, i had to do a art and craft show the next day in canada. Had to get home.

Oh yeah, great curb appeal! Funny thing is, we rented this house before we bought it. When we first drove up to look at the house (to rent it) I knew it surely had to be rewired like that for high speed internet. So, it was a "plus" for me. Now that we own it, I'm less than thrilled that they strung cable up on the outside of the house.

Yea, the October Storm is one of those few events in your life you'll never forget where you were stuck or what you went through. We were lucky, we were only without power for four days. There are so many stories I could tell about it. I remember hearing the same thing about the damage basically being confinded to Buffalo though. Rochester (which is like 60 miles east) was untouched. Craziness...
Thanks for letting us know when you come down next. :thumbsup2

we are going over today but just to nf and wegmans to get groceries and dog and cat food. Plus fill up tank of gas. Our gas is 1.25 a litre which works out roughly to $5 something a gallon.

In a few months, we might be coming over to Canada for gas. It's jumped something like 40 cents in the past two months here.

i dont think so unless your gas goes way up. It usually costs me $74 to fill up my ford escape. Today in buffalo at $3.72 a gallon it cost us $53.00 to fill up. Oh by the way we made it to main st to try lake effect diner for my birthday. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm good.
