Random early morning post, we are shopping for a dining table, moved in a year and a half ago and and the poor room has sat empty

LOL Ok, got it! I need to get a new table and chairs for our kitchen nook. We haven't eaten in there in forever because the table is falling apart. And we don't use our dining room as a dining room. It's an extension of our living room and the boys school room. Sadly, we usually eat on the sofa and sometimes the boys eat at their desks.

Screaming, yep that would be me to. Was everything ok?

Well, other than having a broken door and having to clean up the glass, yeah. No injuries and the fire didn't come out of the stove or anything. I think it just got too hot and the glass couldn't take the stress.

Kitchen table still ok but I am going to paint it this spring.

Ours is some kind of plastic laminated thing. Probably from the early 80s or something. I picked it up second hand more than a decade ago because I couldn't find anything else that would fit in the small space we had but would still seat all of us. Now we have an even smaller space. Our house is 101 years old this year!

Just checking, is the meet up at Doorway to Dreams confirmed for 2/26. I have a massage scheduled that day so I wanted to reschedule the massage if the meet up is for sure on this date. Sue

Boy I hope so, I told my office I couldn't work and I would bring back some photos.

Old can beautiful and a pain at the same time. :)

Absolutely! She's in good shape, but she needs new paint on the outside. The electrical can be a little wacky sometimes too. But we manage. I don't want to have to do much else with the electric because some of the house has already been updated. If we do much more, we reach the point of no return with the permits and will have to update the entire house. It's a two story, so that'd be a pain in the rear!

One room at a time, one room at a time...

Well after 7 need to think about moving off the couch and get to work.. My sister and her family are coming down to work on my brother in laws website, he bought a farm equipment business in Bremen, In and there is lots to do.... I need to clean the house :rotfl:

I want to say that local permit rules state that once you've done 50%, you have to do 100%. The former owner got caught in that rule when he had to redo the plumbing in the kitchen, the hot water heater plumbing and the pipes leading to the washing machine. The city told him he _had_ to do the bathroom now that he'd done the rest of the house.

Yuck, house cleaning! I just did that on Thursday, so the house is in decent shape. :thumbsup2
