Well, to the puppy's great distress, we have a new family member tonight. Paul got his kitten. My princess is being great and completely ignoring her. But, Kyle's puppy is having a cow. Mooooooo! I'm hoping that he'll chill out soon!

Now I get to go back to work today. I like this schedule...work two days get two days off work one day get two days off. Too bad it's not like that every week.

Well, I have figured out why this apartment comes with an iron and board.

Seems their wonderful little washer/dryer unit (one box, not the stacked dryer over washer like at WDW) does an excellent job at creasing clothes. I mean these creases are twice as bad as when you unpack your suitcase. After ironing these nearly permanent creases, I managed to get my pants back to the way they look when they come out of the dryer at home. I doubt if they will ever be right again. Not to mention it takes an hour to wash and two hours to dry.

Oh, and I've used ironing boards before. They were old and clunky, and I always kinda wished I had a modern lightweight one. As it turns out, heavier is better. My pants, with one leg hanging off the edge nearly topples the board and hot iron

Oh, yeah. I almost forgot. I couldn't get his nose wiggling in this one, but he was quite interested in something...

True Remy story (the rat, not the restaurant):
On our last cruise I was in the cabin hanging out and the phone rings. It's my husband and he's excitedly stating for me to get up to theatre right NOW!! Well, I start asking questions and all he says is "REMY, HURRY!!" and he hangs up. So, I grab my flip flops and my camera (who knows, but he said Remy?!?) and I run up the stairs. There is Remy .... a full-size, taller than me, Remy. One of the DVC guys (thanks Will!!!) and my husband had kept Remy and his handler there so I could get my picture taken with him. He was so .... is cute the right word for a huge rat?

Thank you for posting the pictures.... wonder if I could use that as a valid reason for us to drive down and go to Epcot?

They have odd appliances over there. They have a combination washer/dryer. You put the clothes in, and it washes them and VERY S L O W L Y dries them. Our DD who lives there says that it is faster to just wash them and hang them to dry. Less ironing too!

I have a question for those who have an Owner's Locker. Do you take it with you on the cruise? Is there room to store it? I love having it at WDW but not sure about on the cruise. I just would hate to have to pack all the items I already have in it. What's your opinions?

We don't have an owners locker but on last years members cruise there was a couple down the hall that had one. If I remember correctly they said they stored it in the tub and took it out when they showered.
