Yeah Dan, John & I usually keep you company that late but I've been slackin' lately (darn work keeps getting in the way).

Yes, the Disney Dollars thing. I mentioned to the DH, Jason, the other day that we are currently planning on taking 31 days worth of vacation, out of state, in the next 10 months. :scared1: He's going to look into some overtime. :rotfl:

Congrats to Wally and Karen:cool1:

Wally, if I did not know better I would swear there was a script involved with your perfect timing...:rolleyes1

Karen, enjoy the trip and make sure to take time for you. If the teens get grumpy because they don't like what you have chosen, drag them along anyway :lmao: I am sure you sacrifice enough to cater to them, now it is payback time. Make sure to tell us all about it when you return.

Congrats Wally and Karen, wtg!:cool1:

Thanks Lynn

Congrats! ... (I really need to pay more attention.)

Thanks (if you're referring to pirate:/:bride: game :) )

Thanks Andy.
LOL, maybe I've developed an APP for that :thumbsup2

I Totally Agree with Andy...tell them to Cowboy up and enjoy :worship:

:mic: I think they should have a cruise for my dogs to go with us. They deserve a trip to CC :beach: and a souvenir DCL/DVC t-shirt too :dogdance:

Thank you =)
Hi Kelly; how's the brave little one holding up? How's her 6million dollar phalange?

The lil peanut is doing just fine. She got her bandages off today, however, she did not like the look of her stitches. She kind of freaked out. It does look pretty nasty, if you ask me. Oh well. How are you guys doing??

Waiting for our next vacation to WDW (3 weeks I believe).
Tell her it's COOL to have battle scars :thumbsup2

Thanks! I like how you think! We just had a "family meeting" about choices other than Disney. The DH and 13 year old like all three choices.
The choices are Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios Hollywood, and Aquarium of the Pacific. My 13 year old is a huge fan of otters and they have an exhibit he was excited about. The 16 year old, when asked for his top two choices, said, "Not the Aquarium". I'll be sure to pack duct tape and let you know how it goes. :thumbsup2

LOL Will do!

That's what I was refering to W@LL-E. I actually thought that since Dan was on his way to airport that I may have had a chance at getting my first Pirate or Swan ... but the game goes on! I'm sure that I'll get one without having to stay up half the night eventually! :)

I agree! Or at least a DEEP discount at the new kennel. I think we are going to have to bring them with us and board them there next September. It's going to cost a FORTUNE, but I can't see leaving them here for three weeks. :sad2::sad2::sad2:

Under the weather  for George.

We miss you guys! Is it cruise time yet?

Tell George we hope he's feeling better soon!

I will be joining you in my kitchen. This will be my first Thanksgiving dinner I will make. Never had to before. We will have some of our kids and their families, 10 adults and 5 kids. Kinda of scared :scared1: I have frozen pizzas in the freezer just in case ;)

Good luck on Thursday! I love the idea of the frozen pizzas! :lmao:

I'm sorry she freaked out at the stitches. Do they have to be left open or can you put some gauze around her thumb so she doesn't have to look at the stitches? (Or is that the bandaging that just came off today?) Tell her we all think she's a brave little girl and we can't wait to see her fixed thumb on the cruise. Maybe that will make her feel better.

When DS 16 was about her age he fell and split his forehead open. It wasn't too bad, but it did take three stitches. He was cool as a cucumber when we were at the ER. He laid back and let everyone do what they needed to do without tears or complaint. When it was all over, we explained to him that he couldn't rub or scratch at the stitches. We took him over to the mirror to show him what it looked like. Poor kid went white as a ghost (and he's already a pale kid to start with!). He said, "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!! That's an OWEY!!!!" We had to sit him down for a couple of minutes because we thought he was going to pass out!! :rotfl2:

Hi Kelly, glad to hear she is doing well. I have a suggestion for you: shortly before you go to the doctor to get the stitches out, gently massage some neosporin or bacitracin ointment into the stitches and the immediate area. This will soften everything up and "lube" them up good. When the doctor snips and pulls them out Lily won't even realize it unless she is watching

I had a car accident when I was about 20 and I put my face through the window of the driver side door. (OUCH!) I wasn't brave enough to look in a mirror for probably a week. And that was only because I had to go back to work. The stitches were bandaged constantly until they came out, had I looked at them, not only would I have turned white as a ghost, I probably would have passed out, too. I DON'T deal well with wounds or anything that has to do with hospitals.

I can't believe he was so calm while getting stitches in his forehead. The shots they give to numb before they stitch HURT SOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!! My accident was about 20 years ago, and I can still remember the stinging pain and it makes me cringe! He's lucky...he probably doesn't remember that pain. I wish I didn't. OMG....it was awful!

How does his scar look now? I've heard that scars on the foreheads (of little kids) tend to move up towards their hairline as they get older.
