Great job Susie and Tiggermetoo! I need to learn some patience... :rotfl:

I DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE CALLED. I JUST WAS WONDERING WHAT NICKNAMES YOU HAVE FOR YOUR AREA:rotfl2: CANADIANS CAN BE REFERED TO AS HOSERS, CANUCKS ETC:rotfl2:

Way to Go Terri & Sue!!! I had to answer the phone!

Thanks Debbie - yea, I hate when that happens! These are the silliest things, but it keeps my mind off the real world which is nice sometimes. Yesterday, DS came in to ask me a question, and I missed posting - and then actually snapped at him! Then I recouped, smiled and laughed, and then we laughed together - so its all good!

Thanks everyone.

Question - how do you "quote" more than 1 person?

Right next to the "quote" (to the right of it) is the symbol that looks like quotation marks and a plus sign. Click on that for each of the quotes you want to pick up and on the last one, click on the "quote" also.

if people from indianna are hoosiers what are people from nj and illinois called?

Very few states have nicknames for their citizens, like Hoosiers.
Unfortunately the origin of the name is uncertain. Several possibilities exist.

Just after statehood, no door locks on the rustic cabins, just a latch. Someone would come to visit and knock. There was no need to get up to unlock the door, so the response from inside was "Who's Here?"

Another popular one comes from drunken brawls among settlers. A fight would break out and someone would lose and ear. "Whose Ear?"

Yet another: The term Hoosier was a stab at the poor white folk who lived here. It kind of meant a white cracker. Settlers took the name and wore it with pride.

And the last possibility I can remember: There was a black preacher in southern IN named Hoosier (forget first name). The nick-name derived from him. Southern IN was settled first, from upland southerners moving north (like Abe Lincoln's family).

Probably more than you ever wanted to know, eh?

Illinois - Illinoisians (sp?)

Question for you - How do you get your messages to come up in the blue and the different font? I keep trying different things in the user CP but can't find the right one.

Why are your posts larger than the others? (lengthwise)

We lived in MI for a while, and still visit there a lot during the summer. I like to ask people from there what they are called. Many would say "Michiganders". Where I reply, "Oh, and do they call the females Michigeese?"

Don't know if y'all have seen this but they updated the video. Mostly 3D CGI but cool showing of the aquaduck and the restaurants etc

http://disneycruise.disney.go.com/ships-activities/ships/dream/

Edit: After watching the video did anyone else freak out at the scene when they are following the mom and child in the aquaduck then pan OUT of it? Three times I have just watched this video back to back (YAY) and it still gets me.

I like to try to keep it compact, too. Really only want one line of signature.

That saves me a tremendous amount of ink and paper, especially trying to keep up with this thread. You'all print this out right?
