I hopped on hoping to read that Sammie made a turn around only to read that the worst had happened.
I hope you guys are holding up well. Stay strong.

We're in the hospital now. The baby that was predicted to arrive around the 24th appears like he will arrive on the lucky 13th. At least he didn't arrive a month early!
I'll keep you all posted. By the way, we have a couple of days to decide whether to circumcise or not. Any thoughts? Would it make any difference if one might travel (or live) outside the US later in life?
How exciting! Can't wait for pics!
Regarding circumcision. I had that discussion with my mom when I was preggers and she informed me that my father had not been circumcised as a baby. But, there were issues that showed up as an adult that required him to be circumcised at age 40.I decided that I didn't want to take the chance of that being a hereditary issue and had it done.
Thanks Karen ... that would certainly put a damper on one's romatic life for a while.![]()

Hey Hey Hey Happy Day
All the best to you and your growing family
My opinion on the circumcision is a nip now is better than a tuck later .
Please keep us informed![]()
Congratulations! The 13th could be a VERY lucky day! Well, at least for him, it would be! And it is a VERY good thing that he wasn't a month early! We're in the hospital now. Oh, go ahead and do it. I'm interested. Not that it will change my physical aspects now...Get the circumsicion. Don't hesitate. They're is no debate. Just have it done.
At some point in his life he will want to have it done. It might be because he is different than the othe guys. It might be because of what girls will say or might think about. Either way you don't want to undermine his self confidence his whole life with not doing a procedure in his first couple days of life.
I can go into a whole political discussion for the reason there is this whole discussion about something that was almost automatically done. If you want that aspect of it, I will do so. Otherwise just have it done.
