Andy, Carmouse, is organizing the pre-cruise meet. It is going to be at Boardwalk at 4pm Saturday. We are meeting at the DVC sales center at the Boardwalk. He has it listed on the where are you staying page toward the beginning of the thread. You can pm or just post you are attending. See you there

Can you believe when I called member services this morning I couldn't get 3 of my nights for standard view at BWV at 7 months? That's twice I've tried to get the standard view at exactly 7 months and couldn't. We're staying pool/garden view in December and Boardwalk View in March. At least I saved a few points in March. (7)

We've only been able to get BWV twice when we've tried. The first time was for one night and it was the night before our first DCL cruise in 1998! .

We've stayed at Boardwalk several times, even before we bought into DVC but was always able to get standard view. It's Tim's favorite place to stay. We probably should have bought there but they were only offering BLT and AKV at the time. Being a newbie to DVC we didn't know you could get it by resale or be put on a list to get any resort. Live and Learn.
