I NEED TO KNOW who is going to join me in the early AM for the Sunrise Coffee Club on Deck 11. I would like to make special buttons for everyone who comes - so of course I need to know about how many to make! So if you are interested in having great early morning conversation with a cup of whatever, PLEASE send me a PM and let me know that you are interested!!
PLEASE let me know by August 15th - we need to order materials for the buttons!

Well, happy to be back and hopefully - barring any huge happenings - I will stay around until cruise-time!!

Glad to see you back here!! My plan is to make it up for coffee, at least once. What time are we talking again? I'm normally a night owl, but I don't usually sleep in on vacation.

I just learned something new reading another thread. You can use your TIW card discount to buy the refillable mugs. Thought I'd share in case someone else was unaware.

Really!?! Cool! I haven't decided if I'm going to spring for them yet, depends on how close we are to the HH. But, that's great info, in case we do! Thanks!

Has anyone successfully used their TIW card at Good's To Go? I've read of people using them at SS's place (and it's not listed on the TIW paperwork there).

Tables In Wonderland. You can buy it if you are an AP holder or a FL resident. It gets you 20% off at a lot of the TS places and a very few CS places.

P.S. I told junior tomorrow nights movie should be Marley and Me since we've never seen it and we will already be sad.

It's a great movie, we saw it in the theater when it came out and there was not a dry eye in the house. Every grown man in there was in tears at the end.

I know I've mentioned it before but tomorrow is definitely the day we put our dog Pooh Bear down. We've said we were gonna do it before but we talked ourselves out of it but not this time. Last night we had a talk. I was feeling Deb out to see if there was any wavering on the decision but there isn't. We both agree it's time. So in less than 24 hours we will no longer have our beloved Pooh, a member of the family for 17 years. I wish I didn't work tonight, I want to spend some more time with her but we made this decision after the schedule came out. I'm gonna try to get off early so I can have a couple extra hours with her tonight. Then when we get up in the morning, we will get ready and go to the Vet's office, we've been told to get there early. This is such a painful decision to make. I don't know how people do it but I'm just gonna have to take a deep breathe, gather up the strength and just go and do it. Most dogs this size don't seem to live this long. Deb says she lived this long bc she was loved very much! I think she's right.

I'd like to think that when she crosses The Rainbow Bridge today that Ophelia will be waiting there and excited to teach her about the joys of lizard hunting. I'd like to think that Disney is there waiting to Cassanova his way into Pooh's good graces. She will be in good company. I know that while the loss of her physical presence here will leave a profound emptiness that is almost tanglible, if you look for her with your heart instead of your eyes you will find she never left.

So far today we have watched hot air balloons launch, chased them and watched them land. Now it's off to see more orange barrel's!

Junior and Debbie-Chuck and I are thinking of you with a lump in our throats. We also faced this a year ago 8/11 on Chuck's birthday. Every week I would go on Petfinders in search for a replacement . There is no replacement but Chuck and I found it in our hearts to adopt two rescued Doodles-their story is too sad to tell-this was 2 days ago. In a week we have to go to VA. to pick them up from their foster family. We both said never again. But we learned never say never. Please know you and Pooh are in many peoples thoughts.

I've sent multiple emails in attempt to join the 2011 Member Cruise Website & the Stateroom List, with no avail. Wondering if I am sending it to the wrong person or they just aren't receiving it. Any suggestions???

Let me start my post by saying THANK YOU for all the wonderful words of compassion during our ever so difficult time. DS cried the most. Which made it even harder because he is not normally very expressive with his feelings. At one point (at the vet and again in the car on the way back home) he couldn't even talk. It's going to be a long time before things feel normal around our house again. And it's going to be especially hard coming home after vacation....Pooh Bear was always so excited to see us when we got home after vacations. We used to have to hurry up and make her get out the door so she wouldn't have a potty accident when she saw us. LOL She's the third dog I've lost in my life and the other two situations were a little different....they were my family dogs and the one was very sick (and smelled REALLY bad) so it was a blessing when she passed away. And the other one passed away after I had already moved out of the house and Jr & I had a house of our own and already had Pooh Bear. Today it was OUR dog, and now I have to come home to a house without a dog for the first time since I was about 6 or 7 years old. WOW!

I would reply to each of your posts individually but I already cried when I read them the first time, and I don't want to cry again re-reading them. But, thank you so very much for all the kind words and thoughts. They are very much appreciated.

Back home after watching the Timber Rattlers lose 6-1. The post game fireworks were NOT Disney quality.

We had fireworks after the Rail Cats game, too. They weren't Disney quality either, but at least the smiley face fireworks exploded with the smiley face in the right direction. All of the 4th of July fireworks we saw...the smiley face fireworks came out upside down or sideways!! And our Rail Cats lost 6-4.

Glad to have you back!!!!! Sorry things got rough again...we are always here for you, though. I hope you know that! I'm not a coffee drinker, and we tend to stay up till 2:00 am during the SSMC's, but I might still join ya for one or two days at the coffee club! I can't make any promises though. It IS vacation and I might choose to sleep in instead.
