This looks like the kind of site plans that I look at as part of the City Planning Commission. I suppose that I could go to the gurgle and see that I can find.

How much are the Islanders asking the tax payers to pony up? We have been through this kind of ordeal with both the Brewers (to build Miller Park) and the Packer's (to redo Lambeau). The Packers were in no danger of leaving Green Bay but they did put the gun to the taxpayers head.

The islanders wanted to pay for it all by them self about 5 years ago and the town would not approve it. now the economy turned south and they need county help and the county wants to control what is going on. however there is much fighting between the town and islander owership. I thkn this is all BS for the town supervisor to get rid of the islanders and remove all blam from herself. as for money from us it comes out to about$58 for the year in taxes and the isladers will contribute revune sharing wich would lower it toa bout $14 per household. However the media makes it seem like $14 million per houshold.

I'm not a big Lacrosse fan so I don't know what the big deal is!:confused3

I look at the Water board agenda and could not find anything there. Is there a better reference? There wasn't one in the clicky ...

Google "Grand Floridian addition permit" and see what comes up. That's what I did to get the clicky. Maybe there's a better article somewhere.

The way the Brewers and the Packers did it was with a one half of one percent sales tax and hotel room taxes. The Brewers got the sales tax for a 7 county area and the Packers did, I think 4 counties. (but not my county)
