So, I grabbed my iphone to take a picture of the sky and first I took one to the east that looked like this :

Then I looked to the west and it was sort of hard to get the angle just how I wanted it, so I changed the orientation of the phone and took one facing to the west and caught this lightning strike VERY close by (about 1/4 mile away or so) :

LOL, what can I say, my family does not own a string of electronics stores or have a seat on the stock market. I was raised on shots not sips.

I didn't grow up with wine drinkers either. But I am trying to expand my horizons in baby steps. I like the sweet stuff and usually stick to that unless I'm put in a position to go outside that box That's my excuse for doing wine pairings at meals in Disney whenever possible They know what to put together with the food to enahnce both the food and the wine and I simply trust that it won't suck

We've had Wine coolers and Arbor Mist in our lives, anything other than that we are at a loss. Give me some insight on what would be good to get please.

Ah, you're like me, you like the sweet stuff For white wines the Rieslings will be on the sweet side, and so are most Chenin Blancs. Dessert wines are going to be sweet too. Ice wines and Moscato come to mind. For reds, and I have such a hard time trying reds since they tend to be a bit strong for me, I've found some I can do. Last year during F&W we went to the 3d dessert party and tried Port for the first time. It was awesome! Also, sometime last year we went to Jiko and sat at the counter where the flat breads are prepared and got to talk to the chefs (love doing that). I mentioned wanting to try a red and explained that I really only like sweet wines and wanted to expand my horizons. None of the wines by the glass on the menu sounded like they'd be sweet. Well, they recommended one that was by the bottle but went to check if by chance they any of that kind that had been opened and could sell by the glass for me. They did, it was called Jam Jar and it's a Shiraz. OMG I could have drank a bottle of this stuff! Or even two I don't really know squat about wines but I know what tastes good to me. What little I have learned has been through Disney and talking to the chefs and servers

Red usually scares people but there is one in Epcot that you would love if you like wine coolers. Rosa Regale it is awesome

YES! YES! YES! Tried it for the first time at Disney of course and we get a bottle every year for NYE. Even Wally will drink it!
