Thanks Kelly Bolt is allot of fun.. He had a little acident today. He decided to take a short cut down the basement steps. He went off the side. He is fine. It scared him so I don't think he will be doing that again any time soon.

Flo - the weather today wasn't bad like in the 20's, and that is above zero!!! But we were having some seriously strong winds that were blowing the snow across the roads and drifting pretty good! Our ditches are full of snow and now with wind, it makes for some slick roads. I had to go to town today by noon and it wasn't too bad but by 3:30 or so when I came home it wasn't nice. Glad I will be spending the night at home. So, I guess, tomorrow, be prepared.

I agree, who changed the icons? My Woo Hoo guy isn't out there or the dancing banana. Which, he is one of my favorites. I'm not a person for change but . . .I will manage.

Well, just to keep you informed, my BIL has found out that he has a very agressive brain cancer. Nothing can be done. They removed the original tumor but it had fingers and is out there, attacking. They have given him 18-24 months. They are going to fight it with chemo and radiation but . . . All I can say is that I am worried about my DH. Not really sure how all this, sorry, CRAP works, but my FIL passed away January 7, 2008 of lung cancer and just under a year later my BIL has brain cancer. Tonight the Margarita's are going down really good cuz, well. . . . Does anyone have any advice? I want the DH to got get a complete physical but my BIL had one in September, and said he was fine, and now look. I'm just worried. And I know the dr's don't know everything and they are just practicing medicine, but couldn't they have seen something in September? Sorry, just venting. . .Margarita's.

I am so sorry to hear about your BIL. You will have your hands full comforting your DH through this time.

My Mom has had three different types of cancer over the years and thankfully she has always pulled through it. Its such a sad and scary thing to go through. I'm so sorry you're being tested with this.

It really puts things in perspective when these things touch our lives. Those doctors are not always right though. I've seen too many people overcome the odds they've been given by their doctors. Try to keep your spirits up and, more importantly, your BIL's spirits up.

No real advice. For BIL keep the family memories alive. For DH yes a complete physical would be a good idea but no they can't always find everything with one. Prayers and going out to your family.

and for your family during this difficult time. A close friend of mine lost her sister last week to cancer. It started in the lung and spread to her brain. This is a very difficult thing to deal with. My dad died of pancreatic cancer in 1988 and the best advice I can give is to be there for your DH and BIL. Now is the time when they both will need support. Sometimes it may just be to listen and other times it may be to cry with them. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Take care and remember we are always here for moral support.
