Dianne -thanks for the pictures. Love the memories. Great times indeed!

Joanne - the virtual porthole looks really cool. I would consider trying an inside cabin on a short cruise to try it. I'm feeling great thanks for asking. Just had my annual physical with my regular physician and except for my diabetes (where I knew the numbers were getting too high) all looks good. I'm getting a new medication for the diabetes and now that I have my energy back I'm getting back to the Wii Fit. Looks like we'll just miss you at WDW. We leave on the 3rd of December.

Mary, it's a shame that we'll miss you. I hope you have a fabulous time. We'll miss Dave too .

Fall is back here in Chicago with the cooler weather after the wonderful Indian Summer we had over the weekend.

Taking DF to school in a few minutes, then time to clean house and get ready for the party Saturday, Maybe I will start putting up decorations, too.

I will also grocery shop today for the party....no travel for me, good thing I have the party.

Well it's another wet day here in the northeast - as a matter of fact, we are in the midst of another Nor'easter storm, thanks to the remains of Ida! It hasn't stopped raining since early yesterday and no end in sight yet! YUCK!

My guys are supposed to be going on a hiking trip this weekend in Valley Forge Park - I hope it stops raining by then!

Dianne, I can't wait to here about the party on Saturday! Have tons of fun!!

Hey Chris - where are you??? You were supposed to tell us all about the International Pub Crawl - oh, I mean the Epcot Wine and Food Festival!!

Good morning everyone!

I am still, still I tell ya, trying to recoup from last weekend. We may have only been down at WDW for two days but my feet and body say otherwise.

We got in to the Sanford Airport around 8:30 Friday night, got the luggage and car and were on the road by 9:00. Got to SSR around 10:00. Our friends were waiting for us and made us a couple pizzas for supper. We hadn't eaten since lunch cuz our flight left at 5:00 from Des Moines. So, it was a nice drive from Sanford to SSR. If you have never flown in to Sanford it is a nice little airport and easy to get to. The only down side is no Magical Express. But we can get really cheap tickets to fly in to there compared to MCO, so renting a car isn't all that bad.

Got to bed around midnight and my loving DH was then up at 4:30 because he was to excited to sleep. See, only two days so we had to maximize our time he says. DHS had extra magic hours that morning and were opening at 8:00 and he wanted to be there by 7:30. Well, our luck with the buses has always been bad. But our friends have good luck with them. We left SSR around 7:00 and we were at DHS by 7:10! Never in my life have we been able to get to a park so quickly. So we had to stand around forever it seemed like. But it went pretty quickly.

DH took all tickets to get fast passes for Toy Story Mania and we all headed to Rock "N" Roller Coaster to wait for him. God I love that ride! Then we headed over to Tower of Terror. Another favorite.

Well, gotta get to work for now. Tell ya more later.

Hi Chris - it sounds great so far - and soooooo familiar!! We may have to check to see if your DH and my DH are some how related, because, OH my goodness, this would have been him to a T !!!!
