Good morning everyone! Just like on board Dave is the first one up for coffee club.

Fall is really here in Chicagoland now. So glad I swapped out my closet on Sunday and put away the Summer stuff and pulled out the Fall/Winter clothes. I'm wearing cords and a sweater to work this morning.

Happy October! Where oh where did the year go? Not that I want to repeat the first half.

Have a great day everyone. I'm off to tend my farm and check in with my mafia.

Happy Belated Anniversary!!!!

Wow, it looks like this group has several of the Alaska cruises covered. I have not even had a chance to inquire yet.

Maybe the week between when this class finishes up and the next one starts I can do some research.

I still keep thinking about getting away just for some R&R all by myself. Ok, I guess a couple of good nights of sleep might help that one.

That said, I am heading to bed. Slept about an hour last night so I am going to catch some ZZZZZs.

Oh, one more note. Sue - Kyle only has 6 more activity badges until he has earned all 20. He is excited. He just received Sportsman, Showman, and Craftsman Monday night.

Your right. But I think the Wisconsin/Chicago area missed summer all together. We went from spring to fall in a matter of a few months. I sure wish we were back in the tropical warm fo Castaway Cay!1

Tell Kyle I send my super congratulations!! That's fantastic! All of my three earned all of the activity badges and they were so proud of that accomplishment, so I know that Kyle will be too! Let me know when he finishes and I'll see if I have some more patches or something special that I can send him!!

I actually enjoyed this summer. It didn't have the really hot hot hot muggy days we sometimes get. Sure it was cool at times but more like a late Spring cool. Still warm enough for shorts but not too hot. Just hoping we don't have too bad a winter. Especially late Nov/early December.

It is 52 here now with a high of 62. Fall is here. They are saying rain but it feels more like snow.

I think that we definately missed summer here. Went from spring to fall in a hurry and winter is fast approaching. I would love to be sittin on the beach at Castaway Cay right now...feet in the sand...fruity drink in hand. Ohhhh how nice it would be to be warm right now. Ahhh all my body feels is the frost of winter knocking on the door. =(
