09/13/09 SSMC09 S.S. Member Cruise 2009 - Part 4!

My daughter's first day is tomorrow too- but her teacher said she'd have to catch up on the work when she returns... but that she could begin working on a special project that the kids will be working on- an introductory wall of themselves.

That should be a project that won't be to bad for her.



wow. Ceasar is amazing with dogs. I'd like him to come teach my dog to sit and stay.... but I'm sure he's a little too busy for that!! We just got a dog about a month ago... she's a rescue dog, from a family that really neglected her- didn't feed her, tied her to a rope in the back yard and left her outside all of the time. She had been rescued by a woman that owns a horse farm- and she brought her back to health, socialized her, and now she's a good, sweet dog. Just looking for a little love! she just needs to get sit and stay etc- and she'll be the perfect pet!

I'm so tired. I worked all day, and went to my mom's for a cookout. Which didn't last long, my son threw up, and my hubby didn't have a change of clothes... so off we went to home for a bath!! (He's not sick, he's got reflux- or some other digestive issue, and it happens when he gets full but snacks anyway... we are working with Dr's to get it under control...)

Now I'm just waiting for laundry. It seems like the storuy of my life!!

did you do anything for labor day?

No, nothing special. Went to one of my favorate stores Lowe's. I could spend hours in there just walking around. They have there halloween things out. Boy do they have some nice things.

Poor baby. At his age that is hard for them to stop when they see other kids doing it. Sounds like it was a very busy day.

I don't think laundry will ever stop.

Poor Dog! What kind of dog is it? Glad you gave it a good home.

I'm not sure what kind of dog she is! She's a cutie! Take a look on my FB page- she has pics up there. I think she's a corgi mix... but she's a medium size dog, and she's so pretty. She has these cute freckles.

Her only issued are with food- and that would be more of the- don't leave it out and within reach or it won't be there when you get back- issues. Not agressive with it or anything. and she really doesn't like rain- she hides and flat out refuses to go outside. But that's also from being left out with no shelter, so I just let her hide or hang out with me and she's fine.

I blame my mom for making him throw up today!! He had finished dinner about an hour earlier- and she brought out ice cream sandwiches- too soon, and he tried to eat the whole thing! I mean, who can blame him- but he had eaten too much for dinner!! If she ever tells me- wow- he ate really well today.... and then proceeds to list off a lot of food, I know we're in for it that night!! Which is why I'm always shampooing carpets!!

My female Shepard is scard of thunder and lighting when it rains. She is attached to me. I leave the TV on when it gets like that because it helps her. Needles to say when it gets like that at night I don't get much sleep.

I will have to check out your photo albums.

She hides herself in this small spot between our headboard on our bed, and the wall... I wouldn't have guessed that she could fit in there, but she makes it work... and sqeeezes!! It's amazing. she likes to sleep there too- so it must be her safe spot.

My husband asked me tonight if it was ok to smoke cigars on the verandah of the room. I told him I would ask... so just passing this one along. I vaguely remember this being a topic of discussion, but wasn't paying close enough attention to remember the answers! Sorry!!

Exactly. I love this time of the day, but that's probably my downfall too- I tend to stay up way too late- to feed my addictions, of course!! the Dis Boards, and FB!!

Funny you should bring that up- my mom (step mom and dad actually) were going to bring one by here for me today... and they were no-shows!! So, before I go to work tomorrow, I'll have to stop by their house and grab one.
