Wanted to post since I know some of us will be leaving soon. I have it printed and ready to take with me.
Here's a tip about overriding the air conditioning sensors, posted several times on DIS:

"On the thermostat push the power button and the down arrow (that adjusts the temp) at the exact same time. If you do this correctly there will be the letters "bp" where the temp numbers usually are. You are now bypassing the sensors in the room. You can then set the temp to whatever you want and it keeps the room that cold whether you are in it or not. The maintenance man said that you might have to do this once a day as the thermostat tends to go back to sensor mode after 24 hours. We found that it stayed on bypass for a couple of days at a time. It was great to come back to a cold room or not wake up in the middle of the night in a sweat again. The CM that did this for us said it was not a problem doing this as they do it for people all the time. Guess they get a lot of complaints."

I missed the Sunday sailaway, but I am not going to miss it next weekend!
Hope everyone had a great weekend, we ended up out at the campground so I am home early to start our house cleaning.

I can't believe in 6 days we will be sailing!!

and it was my hubby lurking- with thin mint blizzard in hand! what a guy!! Damn. now I have to fold his laundry.

i would love a thin mint blizzard...only problem is that i have no dairy queens near me.

had a nice breakfast with my parents this morning, i just spent the past 2 hours screenprinting a job and still have one left! DH is going into work for a few hours this afternoon so the baby and i will be bonding. i think i will write down his schedule for my mom so she has an idea of how his day goes.

i am excited but trying not to think about leaving my son for a week.

we have no plans after this, we have done a lot of traveling this summer and need a break. we might go to lake george again this winter on DVC points as we really enjoyed it last time but then nothing until next summer when we go to hampton beach again (that time with two kids!)

i got a slow cooker cookbook from lakeside a few years ago and they have an awesome recipe for pork in the slow cooker. i am not a pork person but you cook it with whole cranberries and honey, it is like a turkey dinner when it is done.

the one thing we must do when we go to disney is to buy me a new winnie the pooh. i get one each time we go. i also want to start getting an ornament since we got one last time when we were on our honeymoon.

Hi everyone! Well, I spent this morning adding another day to my December trip. I am going to head down now on the 3rd instead of the 4th. I was able to book POR for the 3rd with an AP rate for only $89. I then changed my airfare and in the crazy Disney math it didn't cost me anything because I had a credit that I could use. How is that for rationalization?

I added the additional night because I found that PixelMania will be occuring during my first weekend of the trip. So my trip now is:
First weekend: PixelMania
weekdays: enjoying the parks
Last weekend: DAP.

PixelMania is being sponsored by MagicInPixels. It will be basically photography related events around WDW.

DAP is DISapolooza and is sponsored by DIS Unplugged. I have signed up for some of the events already but the sign-up has not yet been announced for the main event which will be a TSM after hours party.

Both of these events stem from Mousefest and I attended events by both groups at Mousefest last year. This year Mousefest isn't happening. But many of the groups involved in Mousefest are still sponsoring events this December.

Back again for a few, Downstairs bath done, kitchen floor mopped, on to the livingroom!!

Sue- I did read about the vanishing light trick, I knew there was a way, but didn't know how. How was your weekend? Lots of prep for the trip?

Flo-We did have a great weekend for camping, the weather was great. Had to say some goodbyes out there as some members of group are moving on to other campgrounds. Kind of sad to think our "group" won't be the same next year, new friends to be made though.
