Sue, good for you. I definitely could lose a few (!?) pounds, but I've got to get my rear in gear. I kind of feel like Chris; he loves me despite my love handles. Hey, we're just bounteous beauties, right?

Robbie, it's great that you had a good time in DC. It sounds like you got to do a lot of interesting things. We've been here 20+ years and you probably saw more in one weekend than we've seen since we've lived here. It's just hard for us getting the 60 or so miles up the highway and navigating the District with our schedules. Did you get to the Smithsonian at all? That's a wonderful collection of museums.

Oh, and we lucked out in the snow department this time; we only got about 1 1/2 inches. Yay!

Flo, we are well, although DGD21mos has a cold, so I'll likely be sporting one soon (you know how that goes).

I have some great news to share. Got a call from my doctor's office that the polyp was in fact benign. Yeah! Once again thank you so much for all your support and prayers over the last year. You really did help me get through it all!

Yes, it was! Also the Korean War Memorial was really touching in the snow.

Robbie, it's great that you had a good time in DC. It sounds like you got to do a lot of interesting things. I know what you mean. I rarely go to Boston. People ask me for advice on visiting Boston and I can't give too much.

No I didn't get to the Smithsonian this time. I concentrated on National Park sites but whenever my next trip to DC is, I will spend more time on some of the Smithsonian museums.

I'm off today. Have a lot to do around the house and a left over vacation day from 2009 so decided to take it and stay home! On the agenda is doing our taxes. What fun!

The fun will be tomorrow when I get to meet up with some high school friends. We try to get together once or twice a year and I just never made it to any of the lunches last year. So I'm really looking forward to seeing them.

Did anyone see the news that the Electrical Parade is coming back to WDW this June? We love this parade! So much that we've changed our travel plans down to our July cruise. We were going to take 3 days and come down the East Coast and stay by the port but now we are taking our regular route and spending two nights at Bay Lake Tower! We loved BLT in Nov/Dec and we were able to get a one bedroom bay lake view. I'm so excited!

I think a fish extender business on ebay could do well. We also got ours there.

Well the weather her has been great. It is been in the high 30's most of the week. Now we are under a winter watch. They say we could get up to a foot of snow. It is supposed to start tonight. Fun ride to work tomorrow.

50 degrees sounds wonderful. So, you still are not getting the snow? That's too bad since you guys like to snowmobile and stuff. We are so ready for it to be gone.

Just watching our local news and the "Amusement" park we have here in Iowa - Adventureland - had a big fire at it yesterday. It sounds like a roof collapsed and then an electrical fire started right on the main street of the park. We haven't been down to Adventureland for several years but it is a nice amusement park. We always have had a good time there. It looks like it took out the ice cream parlor, toy store, a restaurant and the old time photography studio. It will be interesting to see how they rebuild.

Good morning, everyone. We are also supposed to have 50 degree temps today. That will make for a lot of melting around here, which will be a good thing because the huge piles of snow in the street make it very hard to see cars coming from the side streets. One of my DDs works for Geico and she said that's the biggest cause of accidents right now.

Hey, Flash, good to hear from you. We're all pretty well (OK, most of us have colds courtesy of DGD21mos, but this is the first cold she's ever had, so no complaints there).
