Congratulations to all the and winners.

Good evening everyone! Had to go back to read what I missed while at dinner. DB and DSIL came over, we ordered cheesesteaks out ( and for all of you who do not live in this area, they would be original authentic cheesesteaks) and finished up one of our adult FE gifts - they came out soooo cute!! I can't wait to give everything away!!

How I miss cheesesteaks and hoagies. Subway does not do them justice.

Wait a minute! I'm already bringing chocolate - I don't think the cheesesteak will pack well !!!!

I was going to ask you to bring one but figured it would not hold up. Now, I might just have to get one this weekend.

My DBFF used to always take hoagies down in dry ice.

Have a cooler and food will travel. My mother and mother-in-law knows all about packing food in a cooler. They brought enough food for the week to feed an army when we were at Disney in February.

think i might get ready for bed now, my toe is killing me.

I hope your toe feels better. I hurt my toe on Tuesday and have been limping ever since. When I first stubbed it I thought I broke it; but, I don't think so now. I hope your toe isn't broken.

My DH will join you. He is out the door at 5:00AM so he is up early on the cruise. I will be up but on the veranda. he goes and gets coffie and watches the sunrise. If that is ok.

I would definately go for the 16g but just to let you know they now have a 32g. My DS has the 16g and I am tryingto convince him that he need the 32g so I can have his. I can show you guys all I have on the 6g on the cruise.

That's what I got the 32. I am a memory freak...always want the most, even though I don't know a thing about any of those terms...but boy can I ever pack a wound!!

I can't believe you guys are saying good night so early!!! What are you going to do? I was trying to set up this ipod touch and missed the daggone pirate again...and then I was on facebook and spent $10 on farmville to get more money to buy stuff for my farm and I paid with paypal and they didn't give me my cyber money...so I filed a complaint with paypal...ARGH

Tried Farkle too and got Farkled a zillion times...had over 5000 on one roll and then I took it too far and got Farkled and lost the 5 thousand points. ARG..that;s what I get for being greedy.

Going to minor league baseball game on Sat because Sponge BOb is going to be there...gotta take the kids to see Spongebob!

I can't believe that my Palo dinner is the same night as the pirate party...darn. I will cancel the Palo dinner...I have yet to eat anything at that pirate party...I am either stuffed or too late and don't want to wait in line. They need a fast pass for the pirate party food!!

Flo, we will have to talk...I would ask if I could go some where and my dad would say NO and I would say WHY and he would say BECAUSE I SAID SO....
But people who knew me when I was a little girl laugh and tell me that I was the only kid at the playground in party dresses and patent leather shoes with my dad by my side and he wouldn't let anyone play with me...I don't recall except that I do know I wore the party dresses and he was always with me at the playground...no going alone...even in high school I wasn't allowed to go to PJ parties until I turned 18...couldn't go to my friend's house after school...and when I went on a date he was standing at the door with the porch light on with the dog!!! That was enough to scare off a good night kiss! But I must say that my dad gave me the love of family...so it wasn't all bad.

You got the 32 lucky you! You can put allot on there. I had to take some music off mine so I could have the movies and the games. So I have to keep working on my son to get the 32 and I can have his 16 and then my DH will get my old one. DH is not into it as much as me and my DS so he gets the hand me downs. Not that he minds.

We will have to talk my dad was the same. I remember going out to dinner with them and I was 22. I ordered a drink and he yells across the table you can't drink! I thought I would die. But now I realize it was for my own good and I am the person I am because of him. I miss him so much. Thank god I still have my mom at 85 years young.

I could not sleep so I am going back and fourth between facebook and DIS.

Those nautical rooms sound wonderful. With all of our girls, we've never done a room like that.

My daughter has a beach theme in her room. We had to swap the kids bedrooms when the baby was born, and my son already had the blue sailboat room... so I turned it into a beach themed room for her. The blue is still on the bottom of the chair rail, but I brightened up the top half of the wall with a orange sherbert color- and some stencils that say "aloha" and "surfer girl." I have the bedding from pottery barn kids that has island prints in patchwork all over it. I love her room- she's never allowed to change it! I spray painted picture frames with "sand" added some shells, and voila! Beach theme for girls!

Ok guys, have a question. Do you go to the DCL photo of the day thread? If not DOOOOO. cdfl30 has a gorgeous picture of the beach on there right now. God, how I wish I was there. She needs to come with us to take pictures. They are just beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll have to check that out! sounds good. I don't really polay around on the other boards- after all, with the way we are chatting, I'd never leave the computer!!

we used to send bread to my aunt when she lived in georgia becasue it wasn't the same as here. pizza is terrible in the south if you grew up in ny. we asked a guy once when we were down there and he said he used to own a place in ny, same recipe he used in both places and so much different in fl, he really believes that it is the water. who knows!

i still want to go to a chic-filet (sp?) i see them everywhere in orlando and i am told they are pretty good.

It is totally the water there. If they used bottled water to make the dough, it would taste the same- but that is why it doesn't!! Nothing's like good ol' Chicago pizza!!

Not sure! I used to keep it real short when I was younger - but now, I don't know. I really wanted to look my best when I met everyone, so I guess I'm just feeling sorry for myself. After all, it's just hair - it will grow back - right!

When we first moved to VA from NY in the early 80s, we were shell-shocked by the pizza and Italian bread (or lack thereof, really). Now it's a little better. But we go to NC every year (Emerald Isle) and there's a pizza place called Luigi's about 10 miles east of there. The guys who work there are from Brooklyn (as is DH) and their pizza is to die for! We go at least twice every vacation.

On the road by 5:45. Ouch. I get up at 5:30 if that helps .

DH and I are up at 5:30 every day, too. There seem to be a lot of us early birds on this cruise.

That's for sure. Cutting your hair can be so traumatic, though. When we got married, I had waist-length hair. One night I woke up and found I couldn't move...DH (all 6'4" of him) had rolled over on my hair and pinned me to the bed . I ended up cutting it when our twins were born (34 years ago). Now I just want something I only have to blow dry for a couple of minutes before it's presentable (in other words, it's short).

Ok, so I know you got your hair cut, and that you're not sure if you like it or not. One of my best friends is a hair dresser. Maybe she could suggest some products to use that would work well with your hair type/style. If you'd like me to ask her, let me know a little about your hair- straight/curly, how you normally style it (or how you would like to style it)etc...
