09/13/09 SSMC09 S.S. Member Cruise 2009 - Part 3!

I really do feel like I've accomplished a lot. Mark brought up the rolling rack so the clothes will be going on that soon.

I finished packing the FE gifts today. I sealed the box put the address labels on and it is now ready to ship. I will do that next week.

DH packed most of his suitcase today.

I will start to pack mine during the week.

Ok, well, I totally am serious about this- I'm ready to give my daughter away to the highest bidder!! Summer vacation is tooo long, and she is sooo crabby all of the time.

BTW I checked earlier today and we are much chattier than the '08 group. They were in the 600's on the 3rd thread at sailaway. We're in the 1000's and have 3 weeks to go!

Everyone is chatty tonight! I went to make dinner, fried chicken and sweet corn, and came back and had three and a half pages to catch up on. Congrats to Sue and Mary on the and . Can't believe we went through two sets today!

And I am so totally with you all about the sail away party! It will be all of us so soon.

Well, today we spent the day out by the pool most all day. It was very nice and sunny. Even though I had sun screen on I still got some sun. But that is ok, gotta have a little color before the cruise.

We went clothes shopping AGAIN! I was looking for summer dresses but didn't have much luck! I guess I'll end up going to more stores. The biggest problem I have is that I can't try the stuff on in the store so I end up buying two of each but in different sizes and have to return the other ones that don't fit! DH deserves a medal because he needs to come into the stores with me since I'm walking with a cane

I just saw a commercial for those. They look really good! Then again, I don't to eat too much before cruising. LOL

Wow! I can't keep up...only went away to have dinner, walk the dog,and check e-mail and such...another 3 or 4 pages added here!!

Tomorrow morning I will be reserving our hotels for the road trip, everything is getting organized !!
My youngest dd picked her dresses for dinner this afternoon too, she had to try them all on of course

And I still have my question about shorts and dinner. Is it strictly no shorts or more "dressy" type shorts (like nice bermuda shorts type) allowed for the men and boys?

About the pants, I am still trying to figure out if that is all men/boys are allowed to wear at dinner...if that is the case, then 4 each..

Oh, brother I missed the whole sail away...making sausage and peppers and onions...but it did taste good. Glad I got to see a pic of it though.

OH!

I think I have the attention span of a gnat! I was all set up to watch the boats, and then I got sidetracked. I started more laundry, then I cooked dinner. then I saw how dirty my front door was, so I cleaned that... really?! I could have been cleaning a door during the sailing away party!!

Oh, well. There is always next week. And then if I miss that one, our real party is not far away!!

Hey, really missed you guys at the party! Hopefully next week - set your alarms! We really did get very chatty!
