hey everyone! we just got back from the ocean this afternoon. we had a great time, a bit cool for the ocean but sunny and cloud free, also cool enough at night to roast marshmellows at the campfire. DS loved the ocean, the boats, birds everything, it made my heart warm! i was worried about how he'd do with the 3.5 hr ride but we bought a DVD player and got a mickey mouse playhouse dvd and he was great!
we got home, i unpacked did laundry and started packing for Disney. I have four bags we can take so one small one has all of our dress clothes and shoes. Another small one has our clothes for our two days at disney before and I actually packed older tops so i can throw them out! That way we will have an extra suitcase for the trip to bring stuff home! Now over the course of this week I will put aside our regular wear clothes for the cruise. i am so EXCITED!
only 7 more work days till we leave, i can not wait. i will be sending a box to the cruise line this week with our fe and some other items.
i am a bit worried though, i hear all of you talking about making your fe's, we just bought some cute little items to leave for others, is that ok?

also, we will probably not make the meet at WDW unless it is ok for us to bring friends as we have two that are meeting us and staying with us at WDW before we leave. could someone let me know?

i know that i was reading through and there was someone (sorry i can not remember who, maybe Chris?) that was trying to find shoes for a navy dress, how did you make out? what size are you? I have an espidrille with navy patnent leather straps that I am bringing that are a size 9 that could be shared if they will fit you. let me know.

well, i gotta go pick up pizza since i didn't feel like cooking tonight, i am sure i will be on later.

Also, what ever you did the fish extender is fine. It is for fun so don't fret.

Just completed the online check-in - it was a breeze! You were right, it was pretty simple.

I like the idea of not waiting for them to make the cards and put the Credit Card in the system. You just go get your packet and you are on your way.

I see they got rid of the theme but if you go to itinerary it says 2009 in the heading but 2008 in the body.

are there any benefits of online check-in besides the convenience of doing it at home? is it really that much faster getting the room key once you arrive at the resort?

For us yes, it was faster. There was no line and DH walked up, gave our name she handed him our folder, room keys, etc and we were on our way. I think it took me longer to go to the bathroom than for him to check in!

Yep, it was me looking for blue shoes. And that is such a nice offer, but I wear a size 7. I'm gonna go looking again this weekend, so maybe I'll find something. Thanks again!

I'm with the running of the kids night tonight too. DD #2 has dance at 7:45 to 8:45. Gets pretty late.

Good to hear so many have done online check in. Hope it all goes as smooth for you as it did for us once you get to your resort. We are going to check in for for the Poly here like Monday or Tuesday. And I can't wait to stay there! Only 19 years of waiting!

Our favorite time to go to Disney is at Halloween time. In fact, right around the end of October. Love, love, love going to MNSSHP and Food and Wine Fest. That is the best! So sad we won't be going this year.
