Around 700 miles each way. It is all highway driving though which makes it nice.

Wow, 1400 miles in two days. Long trip. But, then again, you get two weeks without the kids, which is a nice break for you guys. I'm sure you will miss them terribly. But they will have such fun with their grandparents. Drive safe!

It is a beautiful morning here in Southern Delaware. Upper 60's, sunny, a very nice breeze and the a/c is off and the windows are open. I just love it. By this afternoon it's supposed to be in the upper 80's and the humidity is on the rise.

I found some awesome, fun fabric for my new fish extender! I am not the crafty sewing type- but my mom is!! And she came with me to tell me what I needed! Can't wait. We also got some super cute Halloween Mickey fabric for treat bags for the Not So Scary party! Can't wait!!

I'm workin' all weekend, but you know I'll be out here lurking!!

I'm going to try to get over to the Doorway to Dreams thing this Sunday too- maybe I'll meet some of you early!

I did look at the time and went wow she is up early. Love are animalis but hate when they do things like that. Take a nap during the day. It also seams like they know you could sleep and want you up.

I'm no kind of cat expert, but there's a possibility of a kidney/bladder infection when a normally well-behaved cat starts acting like that. Just something to keep in mind...

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day


We're all going to have fun in the sun right? So don't forget the sunscreen! The sun is stronger down in the Keys and the Bahamas than it is where most of us live. On sea days it can be even stronger if you are out by the pool The cool breeze from the ship moving and the water makes you forget how strong the sun is.

Here's the tip - try the new spray on sunscreens. Especially for the ladies and girls who get their hair braided. Put sunscreen in those rows or you'll be in for a very red, very painful experience! Remember that part of the scalp doesn't see the sun too often.

Don't forget other often over-looked places like your ears and the top of your feet. Protect yourself and you can have fun at play and not be in pain the next day!

Have to add my 2 cents: Don't forget the SPF in the lip balm too! I burned my lips and got a bad sore right in the middle of my bottom lip....don't plan to do that again if I can help it!

I plan on driving from Mass. to Michigan early Sat. morning, then driving back on Sunday. It is time for our kids two week stay with Grandma. It is a long drive, but by the time you fly it is about the same time frame. So have a great weekend everyone.

By the way, Don't know if I shared this with you, but DH went back to work Wensday.

Hope it lasts for a while. He works in a field where work seems to come and go. New knee is still bugging him, he is doing the best he can.

The Doorway to Dreams event is not till Next Sunday August 16th. If you go this week no one will be there. I went back to make sure it did not change. See you on the 16th.
