Hi everyone!

Well I have good news and bad news.

The good news is my platelets where higher (still low but high enough to get chemo).

The bad news is my white blood count was too low now. So no chemo this week. I'm scheduled to try again next Monday. So I'm at work and going to enjoy the week and let my body get stronger.

Thanks for all the good wishes and prayers. I guess from now on we need to be more general and now wish for one particular thing.

Also, to those folks who are going to be at the BC meet: Have you made dinner plans? We initially thought we'd have dinner at Cape May, but we changed our minds and decided to go to Epcot after the meet and can't decide where to have dinner. Maybe the Biergarten?

I am right there with you, Flo. After all of those months off work with my knees...we are on a tight budget...no tickets to the park, no special dinners, just relaxing at the hotel and going on the cruise...may have a little splurge on the cruise...

Glad I could help. Sorry to hear you won't be at the Beach Club meet but I hope you come to the on board meet!

I will definitely make the on-ship meet. However, I was really looking forward to the pre-Cruise meet. Oh well, then again, Sandi may change her mind. (She has been known to do that many times. As a matter of fact, our youngest sister keeps asking me if Sandi is still going on the cruise.) So I won't be cancelling my BCV reservation or my airflight for at least a week to make sure that she doesn't change her mind.

Well, as I posted yesterday, my sister and I may be staying over on the coast now instead of at BCV. But if we do stay at BCV we were thinking about going off-site for dinner (Joe's Crab Shack - never been there but seen lots of commericials).

We are going three days before the cruise and staying at SSR. We are booked for the MNSSHP for the night of the 13th. We went a few years ago just the three of us, now going with DB, DSIL, and DBFF - it'll be their first time.

We are going to the MNSSHP on the 18th. My parents are coming down and joining us after the cruise at BLT and we will all be attending. The kids do not know they are coming. It will be a surprise. Well, that is if their grandmother can keep the secret.

As for before the cruise, we are staying at BCV. The kids and I plan to come by the DIS meet at BCV to say hello. We are having dinner at Teppan Edo that evening in Epcot at 6:30. We actually arrive on Friday and will be at Tutto Italia that first evening. The kids picked both of those restaurants. Actually, they picked most of the restaurants for this trip. We also have a 9:00 reservation at CMC for breakfast on the 13th.

We are doing Narcoosee's after the cruise. They both loved that during our visit last year. DS is actually very excited that he is on the adult plan this year so he can order the surf and turf. He ate most of mine last year. As exciting as it is for him I am dreading having to pay the adult prices for him this year.

I am very excited today and I wanted to share it with all you Disney fans. I just paid off the balance on my very first Thomas Kincade (TK) Disney picture. I was not able to get the Snow White painting which was the first in the series but I did get the Pinocchio painting. I have not brought it home yet as it has to be framed and I am not ready for it here at the house. I do not want anything to happen to it so I am leaving it at the gallery for now.

The next painting in the series is Peter Pan which was not due out until September. It has already been released and it is also beautiful and also selling very quickly. You just have to see these painting in person. You can check them out online but it is just not the same.

I have one of TK's Christmas paintings. I wanted one for years and a few years back I was finally able to get one. I just love it.

Now that he is doing the Disney series I am so excited. They are definitely an investment as the value is going up very quickly. Not that I would ever sell them but at least I know I am investing in something that is actually increasing in value.

Just wanted to share my excitement!!

We also are not making any plans,,,money may be very tight by then, DH still off from work, we might be buying one day park admission don't know yet.

The cruise will be our main focus, we might be visting a bunch of resorts..who knows.

Congrats on your purchase and paying it off. I am sure that is a good feeling. If you can post a picture when you get it home. Peter Pan is going to be nice to. Were on line would you go look at them. Them being Disney make it even more special.

What a great suprise for your kids if the secreat can be kept about the grandparents.

Looks like a pleasant day here in Jersey, although we are forecast for storms later - we'll see.

I said last night that we were going to MNSSHP on the 13th - oops, silly me! We go on the 11th. We have an early dinner at Epcot and then heading over to MK. On Saturday, 12th, we're going to the Turf Club at SSR then to DD for some shopping but we also wanted to go up in the new tethered balloon.

Has anyone done that yet, and how was it?

Good morning everyone - Happy Tuesday! Thanks for all the well wishes. Yesterday was just a little bump in the road. As my good friend Karen said on my Facebook page I have to do this on God's schedule not mine! If the chemo schedule goes into September I'll have talked to the doctor about skipping the two weeks for the cruise (we leave on the 10th and get back on the 20th). What I'm hoping for is that I'll finish chemo by then and just have to schedule the surgery to get the port out until we get back. We'll see what happens.

We're meeting up with friends (who may or may not come to the meet) and heading over to Trails End. Last year one of the DISers organized a large group meal at Cape May. It was a lot of fun. We had to sign up as part of their group celebrations to make it happen but that was easy. We had two big tables in the private room.

We haven't done Characters In Flight yet but hope to do it after the cruise. You'll have to let me know how you like it.
