OH yeah, I forgot to put that in my post! He got one of those really nice (VERY hard to come by) DVC beach towels.
The sad part is, since it's such a rare item I'm afraid to take it anywhere!

Since we are so new to DVC, we don't have much DVC "stuff", like a beachtowel, etc. Will there be a lot of that stuff to buy on the boat? This is only our 2nd cruise and 1st DVC cruise, since we only became members last August.

Wow, that's a great pic for an anniversary. Do you mind if I use it? I'm doing the Alaska cruise next year with friends (DVC nuts, of course) who will be celebrating their 25th anniversary. That would make a great door magnet.

That is a great picture. I'll bet you were surprised to see that at Shutters.

I know what you mean about the DVC beach towel. I (very stupidly) took the great Mickey and Minnie magnet I got in my package for having a Cruise party last year on the EBTA and used it on my door. I don't think it lasted a week. Poof Gone.

There will be lots of DVC stuff given to you on this cruise. On the EBTA I got a nice DVC wooden box which is the nicest thing I've gotten so far. But then I've never been on the Member Cruise. I have a whole collection of DVC baseball hats. They have given out nice pins also. And these were all from regular DCL cruises. I'm looking forward to the gifts on this cruise. It's always fun to come back to the room and find surprises, no matter what they are.

They also have a small selection of DVC things to sell, like the resorts do.

I can't wait to hear "Welcome Home".

PHOTOGRAPHERS, SHUTTERS, & LIFESTYLE PORTRAITS
1. Lifestyle portraits! If you are planning to have one done, the only background choice is white, so plan clothing choices appropriately. In addition, there are backdrops out every night to have pictures taken in front of. So, come down early before dinner, find the one you like best and get in line for a family picture.

2. You can have Christmas Cards made on the ship using one of the pictures that Shutters photographers have taken of your family.

3. Bring at least one color coordinated/matching outfit for the entire family.

4. When you see the Shutter's staff, drag (ask them) nicely over to photograph your kids, you, etc. rather than wait from them to ask - you will have a lot more pictures to choose from later.

Thanks again for the great tips. I have one portrait of my two daughters that was taken with non-coordinating outfits and I don't know what I was thinking when I took them. I must have let them choose for themselves. What a mistake that was.

HI , this is our 4th DVC cruise. Every cruise is different. You get little gifts twice a day in your cabin. They also have DVC merchandise on board. But with a ship load of DVC nuts it sells out fast depending on your size for shirts ETC. You will get 2 or 3 of the same thing each time you get a gift . 1 for each person in cabin.

I tried to get my own version of that picture on my camera, but DD wouldn't cooperate! So I HAD to buy the one from Shutters!

I'm sorry to hear about your magnet! People are so incredibly thoughtless! We hosted a DCL House Party a couple years ago. THAT was a BLAST!

The 3 singers from the Legends cruise. The one in the middle is the original annie. Andrea Mccardle(not sure if i got the name speeled right)

OMG, I am just catching up. But I have to comment. I loved these three ladies they were just awesome. One was from Wicked, The Original Annie, and the other from Little Mermaid. I can't say enough about this show. I was in tears. I loved the Annie lady because we were about the same age and I remember her from way back when and WOWOWWOWOWWOWOWOW.

Here is my absolute favorite picture that we've ever gotten on a DCL cruise.

This was on pirate night. DH asked the DVC rep if he would get something for putting a DVC tattoo on his face. The guy told him that he would definitely make sure to give him something special if he did that. So, on pirate night he put the pirate Mickey tattoo and the DVC logo tattoo on his face!

Hey Everyone. Just got caught up on everything. I posted some replies to the pictures and they are all just awesome. I love the Shutters photos. I have purchased several of them over the years and have them scattered around our stairwell.

Two weeks from right now we will be sitting at Vero Beach enjoying our friends and cocktaile. And we are so ready.

Wish we could win the lottery tonight and just move to Florida. What a pipe dream. But at least we have a dream.
