Two weeks from today I will only be working 1/2 day and then getting on a plane to Orlando!!!!!!! Two Weeks! Ooooooooooooooooooooooooo, I'm so excited.

Hi all!! I had a lot of catching up to do!!!

Marsha - Happy Birthday!!!!

I spent the evening out with my girlfriends - first time we have been out together in over a year! without kids!!! We had a blast!!!

I am doing OK with packing - would like to have more done - I am ususally finished at this point - good news is DH works all weekend so I will have time to get some stuff done. DD6 starts her theater class tomorrow morning we are going to church tomorrow evening and the rest of the weekend hoping for a little warmer weather get a few more swims in before we close the pool - it has been chilly here - and that water is cold!!

Too bad it has cooled off that you will have to close the pool already. Where did the summer go?????

Yes, I still need to pack. And so do the girls. DH has pretty much been done for a month. Saturday we are getting our haircut and then Sunday I am supposed to go to a cousins house for a Pampered Chef party. I know DH is going to start hounding at me to get packed, but I always tell him, have I ever not been ready when you say it is time to go? Huh, have I? And the answer is always "No, you are always ready when it is time to go." I think he just likes to give me a hard time. Besides, I'm still doing laundry up until the night before we leave.

You should have seen our youngest DD this morning. We had the news on while she was eating breakfast and they were talking about the storms out in the Atlantic. And her eyes got real big and was like what are they talking about and is that where we are going?????? I told her not to worry, the storms will hopefully be gone by the time we get there and that the ship's captain won't put us in any harm. Just the look on her face was priceless. I hope she doesn't worry too much about the storms.

But, just wondering what they will do with the cruise if there are storms out there while we are sailing???? What if we can't get to CC, will they take us somewhere else? Huh, wonder what the back up plan is for the Wonder?

Any guesses?

Looks like I am helping you all get closer to the next and today while I'm at work.

I will be working my fingers to the bone while you guys are on here having fun. Lounging the day away. Drinking rum! And so on and so forth.

Just kidding.

OOHHH!!! I want the one on the bottom left side of the picture!! I wonder if Ducky Williams WILL be on our cruise. I bet he will.

Mr. Williams was on my Honeymoon cruise 10 years ago and he drew a lovely picture of Ariel for me and personalized and signed it too! It's framed but maybe I should bring it with me so he can sign it again 10 years later?!

I was actually reading about this earlier today and they have a couple of options. Say we're already in port at CC, they could keep us there and wait it out, they've done that before. It was a HUGE hassle for those who were planning on disembarking and flying home the next day and those who were supposed to be getting on the ship that was stuck in CC, but they worked some Disney magic and it all worked out in the end. Or they could completely divert us to another port depending on where the storm is. Or they could shorten the cruise too.

Let's hope none of these happen and we just have a wonderful, happy cruise!

also - will we have someone at the port who will have "emergency copies" in case someone (i hope not ME) forgets to pack theirs?
