ALL THESE YEARS IM STILL WONDERING WHY THEY HAVE 2 WASHING MACHINES SPINNING ON STAGE WHILE THEY PERFORM.

Their latest concert which was shown on Directv, they actually had Chicken Rotisserie cabinets rotissering chicken. I never understood that completely either. Just something silly I guess.

HEYI THOUGHT YOU DIDNT LIKE CANADIAN BEER

See I prefer non-american Beer. Ok except for Samuel Adams, but then it's not normal American Beer. My favorite beers are brewed right here in Indiana, Upland Brewing, SunKing Brewery, 3 Floyds Brewing and Barley and Vine Brewery.

Upland makes an awesome Scottish Ale named Banshee, Sunking has their Cream Ale. Barley and Vine has their Hemi Hazelnut Stout. The last one was actually a plug, its a friend of mine that brews and is starting his brewery.

I've tried the Baby Powder to get the sand off my feet. I thought it sounded weird when I first heard of it, but I tried it at CC and it really did work.

Good to know it works. I will be carrying baby powder in my bag to CC.

Hi everybody.

Was a busy night. Got home and got stuff ready for DH to make supper because I had to go to a parent Volleyball meeting for the youngest DD. Didn't get home till about 7:00. Then still had to finish making supper and clean up. Ughhhhh, I'm pooped!

So I just got caught up on all the posts tonight. Lots going on.

Is it time to go yet? I so need to get away. We haven't even been back to school for a week and I am sick of it. Having to be on the coaches schedules and waiting for them just gets old. I mean, if you are to be done with practice at 5:30 then be done. Don't say oh, well, we decided we would go until 6:00. That is fine when the kids can drive themselves, but when your child can't drive yet and you have to sit and wait, and wait, and wait, I get frustrated. We live 15-20 minutes away from school so it is not like I can be there in a couple minutes to get her when she calls. And then, they tell you the night before when marching band uniform handout is. Well, guess what, we didn't know and the oldest DD has to work. Ughhhhhhhh, sorry, but school is so maddening. Sorry, just had to vent. I need a vacation.

Finally...got the kids fed, showered and in bed. Got their clothes ready for the morning. Just caught up with the last 7-8 pages of posts on here. Now I have to get their back packs put together and label all their school supplies. I've only had my son's supplies for three weeks...you would think I would have done all of this already!

Since 3 weeks from now will be our Day at Sea, here are some tips about things to do while at sea.

Have a spa day or explore what the spa has to offer.

SPA
1. They still offer the couples mud bath steam room, Exotic Rasul - a must do for couples who need some time alone.

2. Ladies try a shower at the Vista Spa.

3. If you want a Beach Cabana Massage on Castaway Cay book online or go directly to the Vista Spa once you have boarded. The reservations go VERY fast.

4. The spa offers a Rainforest pass for the length of the cruise. The Rainforest room is a rainforest-themed aromatherapy steam rooms or a sauna fashioned after a Roman bath with warm tiled chairs. You can also get day passes.

5. There are specials posted in the elevators each day for different spa treatments.

6. If you do not want to be pressured into buying the stuff DCL uses during your treatment, then write “No sales pitch (please)” on your form. Hopefully, this will do the trick.

Explore the ship.

SPECIAL PLACES ONBOARD
1. The best chairs aboard are on deck 4, and it's usually quiet there.

2. Seek out and enjoy the secret deck 7 aft verandah. There is a small deck area with lounge chairs all the way aft on deck 7.

3. If you take the staircase outside of Topsiders/Beach Blanket Buffet, go down two floors. The stairs are different than the 'normal' staircases. Keep walking and you'll see a sign for the observation deck.

Yes. It was called the Black Beard's Jumbo Crab cake and was served on Pirate Night. It was delish!
