Does it mean I have finally gone nuts that I am happy for only 3-6 inches of snow? Had to get out of the house so I drove all over the county. No way the roads are ready for school buses. I will be surprised if we are in school before thursday. Enjoyed looking at the pictures from the cruise. Thanks for posting them. Especially the one of castaway key. Nice to see the sun and sand. Chris send me the address of the Weatherman I am looking for a road trip I will knock him out for you.

Yes, this "job thing" does get in the way, I agree! But we have to go there in order to be able to go to WDW at all! I need to win the lotery! (Fat chance in that though.)

Well, good news. DH got us a one bedroom villa down at Vero Beach the night before we sail on the cruise. We are so excited to stay there. We have visited there once but never stayed. We will only be minutes from our friends who live in Sebastian so hopefully we will be able to visit with them while we are there.

Is it September yet??????? Oh, wait, we only have 25 days until our next WDW vacation for Spring Break! Wilderness Lodge, here we come!

To be at the World in less than 25 days would be . How long will you be staying? Please post some pictures when you come back and let us know how the resort is. I have seen some beautiful pictures of the resort.

Oh how exciting. I stopped and visited the resort once when I had a class to teach up that way but have never stayed. Please give us a full report about your stay

We are at 19 days until our next WDW vacation for the D23 Anniversary event and F&G! AKV savanna view. It will be DH's and my DM and DF's first time in a savanna view room. Wilderness lodge is next on my hit list when it comes to a bout of addonitis!

I am psyched about the itinerary we have considering it was not a trip planned well in advance. Here it is let me know your thoughts. Friday lunch at Sanaa and check in. Head to MK for D23 event which includes dinner, special announcements with imagineers, special viewing of Philharmagic and Fantasyland after hours. Next morning Segway tour off road at Ft. Wilderness (first time for my parents but they've done the Epcot one) then off to DHS. We will be using Fastpasses from GAD. Dinner at California Grill (parental units have never been). Then to DTD and late showing of La Nouba with the new act. Next day is Epcot F&G, lunch at Le Cellier and late dinner at HDDR. Check out Monday and head to DTD for some Earl of Sandwich, shopping and procrastinate leaving the Happiest Place On Earth.

I am so envious of the people who have upcoming trips. Have a great time! I can't wait to hear about the D23 events so please share. Your itinerary looks great and fun packed. Maybe I will put La Nouba on my itinerary for after the cruise. I have always wanted to se the show.

Sigh, not a day goes by that DH and I don't discuss the the trip, what do we want to do, do we want to see all the shows this year etc,,,

If you ever want some company watching the boat sail away let me know. We can have our own sail away party right here on this thread until the real thing. I was looking at the navigators the other day thinking about what I want to do this time around and wondering what guests and activities are planned for this year.

As some of you already know, my computer had crashed and I had to start fresh with the spreadsheet. I sent everyone the new one last week but I don't have everyone's info on it. So, if you could please just double check it and email me with whatever info I am missing (DISboard name, stateroom number, etc.)

I apologize for the inconvenience...we now have our computer back up and running and we are operating on TWO hard drives so that if one ever crashes again we'll have all of our files copied onto the second one. Wish we would have done that before!

Good Morning all!!!

I had to laugh at you all discussing work. DD5 asked me the other day WHY I had to work and I told her so we could go to WDW!!!! That's what I tell everyone I only work to go on vacation!!!

Well here in SW PA our schools are CLOSED AGAIN!!!! Seriously at church yesterday our priest prayed for the parents of all these kids off of school - and I need MORE prayers - I am going to lose my mind. Another winter weather advisory for 5-8" of snow through tonight! I told my DMom yesterday I was MOVING to Florida - I must have sounded serious because she said I could go but I couldn't take the girls - DON'T GIVE ME ADDED INCENTIVE!!!!!

DH was talking about taking this week off and going to FL. When he first said it, I thought he was talking about moving to FL. He is not at that stage yet but if we have another winter like this one he might be. Thank God we are only suppose to be getting rain today. Those north of us are suppose to be getting the white stuff.

Marsha - have no fear I truly thought DD would break me - our older one was potty trained at 2 and this one had NO interest in it whatsoever. She would go so far as to say she was "TIRED OF THE POTTY"!!! She was something else - but when she was ready it was a breeze!!! They all have their own little minds (someone really should have warned me about that BEFORE I had them!!) and when they are good and ready and NOT before then we will know!!!

People keep telling me that he will start when he is ready. I want him to be ready now! I keep thinking I can break him but he is proving me wrong. You are right, they have a mind of their own. I hope he makes up his mind to use the toliet soon. He wants to do everything else by himself except that. Oh well, he is definitely teaching me patience.

Another day off school here. Our kids have been out of school since the February 5th storm - and the snow continues here.

Marsha - I frequently say that patience is not a virtue god blessed me with however I am learning that no amount of patience can prepare you for a strong willed child - and I have two!!! I keep telling myself these are good characteristics as they will be strong, independent adults - however that is NO consolation now!!!!

Who else is calling today to reserve a room for after the cruise??? Where are you staying?? I am waiting to see what is availible....planning for WDW is helping my snow depression!!!!

My daughter has some developmental delays (nothing major, but enough to make life rough for us) and she's almost 7 and still not completely potty trained. So, I totally feel for you! Maybe if you just make him think you've given up then he'll come around. Some people say that works because it has something to do with the child thinking they have control. If you're trying to control their potty training then they take control by not getting trained. (I hope that makes sense) Have you googled "potty training"? I've gotten a LOT of good suggestions from the internet over the years!

Wow! That is a long time with no school. I feel for ya, and the kids. Hopefully this weather will straighten up for you. I know we are excited because we have no snow in the forecast for the rest of the week! That's a first for a long time around here this winter.

Good luck with making your room reservations. We are already booked at BLT for after the cruise in a 2-bedroom. Can't wait to try it. It will be our first time staying there. We bought points at BLT on last years member's cruise.

I read a book on how to potty train a strong willed child. I should send my DS to the author and with a note saying you try to train him.

Thankfully, the snow seems to have stopped here in Southern MD for the time being and I am hoping for the rest of the year. The children are finally back in school though they had a two hour delay this morning. I am thankful that DS's daycare does not follow the public school schedule. I love DS and would not trade him for the world, but sometimes mommy needs a break.

Hey neighbor!! Thanks!! We'll be there till Saturday. I was going to reserve a Standard view, but it was only a difference of 6 points to get a Bay Lake view, so I splurged!

Marsha - don't give up hope...some people are really lucky to have their 2 1/2 year old children potty trained...sadly, I wasn't one of those people, either.

We got BLT - BLV!!!!! We WL for MKV it was only 8pts more - we decided to do a studio since after our family trip in april we will have taken all of 2010 and some of 2011 pts !!! Then DH said maybe we will only be able to go ONCE next year!!! He's nuts there is no way I will allow that - I see an add on in our future!!!!

I did go for the studio to save pts - we have never stayed in a studio - but since it will only be three nights we thought this would be the best time to try it and of course - BLT!!!! SOOOOO excited and so excited to see many of you will be there too!!!

I said I was going to work today - no matter what but as I sit here the snow is dumping - much to DHs delight because he is off Weds and usually he is on kid duty............I AM going!!!

I do not know what I would do if it was still snowing here. I hope you are able to get out today. Be safe when you do. Congrats on getting BLT! I hope to stay there in the near future. And, if you are thinking about adding on wait until the cruise. They have some great incentives. DH could not resist adding on during the cruise even though he said he wasn't going to.

Congrats on getting BLT for after the cruise. That is gonna be such a fun time. We can't wait.

Just wondering, how are you all going to get to BLT after the cruise? We are thinking of just doing Disney Transportation again. We took it last year to the Poly and it was a piece of cake. We were at the resort by like 9:30 that morning. And our room, if you can believe it, was ready when we got there that early!

This will be the last of my snow talk because my nerves are shot and I want to talk about other stuff. Out of school again today. That has been since the 5th. My boys said they are ready to go back to school. See the snow has made us all crazy lol. Our problem is Frederick City has done a poor job removing snow and the drifting continues on the county roads. They asked us to shovel out the bus stops lol lol lol. I did that with the storm and they now have over 15 foot high piles of snow from the front end loader they brought in. I told the guy on the phone they can do it as we had it cleared in our neighborhood and they screwed it up.


We are coming in Friday night the 10th and are staying at WL. We will be heading for the airport after the trip as I have to be in school Friday morning. They are frowning on me taking 4 of my personal days anyway but need to get home to my boys.

I was going to try and stay at BLT before the cruise but could not get a straight answer if we could lug our luggage over to WL for the cruise ship bus.
