Hi Debbie,

I saw the photo you posted on Picture of the Day thread...the one with the Christmas tree on the ship. I just love the photo. That is one wish...to go on a cruise during the Christmas holidays. I love going to WDW during the Christmas holidays...my favorite. My husband post the photo of our stateroom door.

Have a good night. :)

Monika,
That's too funny! I saw the pictures of your stateroom door that you posted and I wasn't paying any attention to your DISboard name but when I saw your name on the door magnet, I knew it was you. lol!!! I LOVE that thread...some of those pictures make it seem like you're actually there! :cloud9:

You have a good night, too! I'm finishing up my Christmas decorations. :santa:

Good Morning

Happy Sunday. Right now it's 33 degrees and cold. The high for today will be 60 degrees and sunny.

DH and I will be taking our daughter back to college this morning:sad1: but she will be home for Christmas break in 2 weeks :yay:

Have a great day. :)

Good Morning Everyone! I know I have been MIA for a week but am back now. We went to Texas for the week of Thanksgiving to see my MIL and my parents. It was a very long drive and we are so glad to be back home!

I would like to say Welcome to all new disser's and glad you joined this thread. Everyone is so nice and helpful on here. It is great once you get on the cruise because there is always someone you recognize once on board to say "Hi" to.

Glad to see everyone had a good Thanksgiving. We did too, but it was different with being in Texas. I didn't have to cook or anything.

We didn't shop on Black Friday, we were driving home. But boy the parking lots we drove by on the way were packed. So glad we weren't out there shopping.

Again, it is so good to be back and can't wait to get to know everyone better! :flower3:

Have a safe trip. Two weeks will go by in no time and she will be back home.

GOOD MORNING LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,
BOYS AND GIRLS!
WE SAIL IN 41WEEKS!

I had planned on making my FE on Thanksgiving before dinner. I had everything all ready to go, bobbin wound, printed instructions in hand :woohoo: and when I went to add in the thread cassette my machine went klunk, clank, cling and some parts fell out :scared1: I was not a happy camper! This was NOT supposed to happen because I was supposed to make a FE this weekend!!!!! Of course I call DH seeing an opportunity to plead my case about the sewing machine I want for Christmas (for the last 2 years now) and explain that if I had a Brother Quattro this would not have happened :rolleyes1 DH isn't buying it and retorts with, "That thing is ridiculously expensive and blah blah blah." Undaunted, I decided not to let malfunctioning pieces of plastic, metal and whirring parts stand between me and my FE project. So I busted out the heat and bond and somehow managed to complete my FE. This one is for pirate: night. I just have to paint the dowel and I am done. Here are pics of the whole thing and a closer up one. What do you guys think?

Terrie - I like the FE!!! I'm sorry your sewing machine broke down on you! Hopefully "Santa" will change his mind and bring you one for Christmas!

Hi all!!

Terrie - the FE looks great!!

I have been out of touch for a few days because........we are in WDW :banana::banana:

I am doing a live TR on the DVC - mousecellanous board

I have about 3 pages to catch up here so I am going to do that and then add day 2 onto my TR!!

Terrie - the FE looks great. Good job! :thumbsup2 I hope you get your sewing machine for Chrismas but your DH might not see a need for one now since you did so well on the FE.

:wave2: Hello everyone,

I hope you are having a great day. It's raining again here. Not complaining, it could be snow...don't like snow or for that matter... the cold.

Marsha Thank you for doing our countdown. 41 weeks...can't wait.

Nikki I've read your TR and I just love it. I'm looking forward to more. You have a great family.

Terri :thumbsup2 on the FE....great job. Sending you lots of pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:...maybe Santa will bring you the sewing machine you want.

Chris welcome back...sorry it took so long to say something. Where in Texas? Michael and I lived in San Antonio for a couple of years.

:wave2: Hello everyone,

Have a great day.:grouphug:

Monika - I wish I would have known you lived in San Antonio I would have asked you about it. We spent a night there on the River Walk and went to the Alamo on our way down and had a fun time. DH's mom is at Donna, Texas and my folks are at Harlingen. My folks used to stay out on South Padre Island and they took us out there to show us where they used to stay. It was very pretty out there but they were having Red Tide :confused3 and you couldn't breath very well when you got out of your vehicle. We just started coughing. And there were dead fish and jelly fish all up and down the beach. And it was stinky! We hope to go back again someday.
