I know here we go again but, I know I saw a site where I could copy my DVC home resorts of course I can't remember where !! Can I copy something from someone else ie: 2009 member cruise logo. Thanks

Terrie - I am so happy that everything worked out with Mona. I especially like the fact that when she got to her new family/home, you could tell she felt right at home. That makes it sooooo much easier on everyone! Your story proves, yet again, that there really is no such thing as coincidence...I like to call it fate! It's so unfortunate that the previous family wasn't able to keep her...and that they forgot about that "minor" detail in the contract!!!! YIKES!


So, how did everyone's Monday go? Mine was LOOOONG!!!! But, productive, at least!

Calypso-I listened to you. So happy for Mona and you. Just think of how happy Mona and her new owners are when you see your uncle. Better yet count to ten , exhale then smile. You know one of those smiles that says "I'm going on the Disney Member Cruise & your not" Nah Nah Nah Nah

Thank you for listening! I did just that last night and survived unscathed. Funny enough at dinner last night he mentioned that they were going to Disney the next day (today). Naturally, I asked where they were staying, which park and what was the plan? He had not made a hotel reservation yet and planned to figure it out when they get there Park they're going to... Disney (translation - Magic Kingdom) No plan, no ADR's, no idea when park opens or closes and they would be 3-4 hours away driving and left this morning around 9am I managed to NOT say everything I was thinking and replace it with, "Uhm, ok have fun"

Wow! Sounds like you have had a crazy week and a half. That poor family of Mona Lisa. How heartbreaking to be giving up one of your family. But lucky for Mona you were able to place her with a new loving family. I know I love my golden retriever, Tessa. She is a great dog. And I would hate to think of losing her.

Hope your dinner goes well today. And isn't too stressful for you. And any time you need to get something out of your system, we are here. Let it out.

Whew! You had a busy week and a half. Too bad for the family who had Mona but I am glad that you were able to find Mona a home. Hopefully, this will be a forever home for her. Hope you have a restful week coming up.

Monday flew by without a moment to breathe. I am sure I must have though or I'd be passed out somewhere and not posting on the DIS

Update on Mona Lisa. I spoke to her new daddy today and all is going well. Mona Lisa has fit right in to the family and they are all in love with her already. His 9 year old son decided to place his comforter next to her the first night and sleep beside her on the floor so she would be more comfortable and feel secure. Mona Lisa now shares the bed of a 9 year old boy who adores her

My Monday was LONG too. I had an Homeowners association meeting tonight so I did not get home until about an hour ago. I am ready for bed.

It's Tuesday! One day closer to Friday! lol

Marsha - I'm in for a longer day today...So I'll feel like you did yesterday. I'm working my regular 8 hour shift at my full time job, and then going to work in my dad's office tonight! UGH! But, it's extra $$$ for our vacation, so it's worth it!

Terrie - so glad to hear Mona is happy and secure and a little boy loves her!!!

Thank you for the birthday wishes from Audra!!! DH had to work Sunday so the girls and I went to church - Audra todl our priest bfore mass that it was her 6th bday so DURING mass he calls her up on the altar to congratulate hermy little ham was in her GLORY!!! and was the talk of her school the next day!!! After mass the girls and I played salon and did our finger and toenails and when DH got home from work we went to Chuck E Cheese!!! She had a great day!!

Yesterday was supposed to be a short work day for me - but I had to go in early to handle a crisis one of the therapists in my supervision created second write up for her in less than a month - I am SOOO ready to send her packing!!!

Today DH and I are both off and since the sun is shining we are going to plant some flowers and clean up the yard a little!!

PLUS we got our new planner yesterday so DH and I spent this morning planning our 10th anniversary trip in April 2011!!! Finishing all of our 2011 points and borrowing 2012 - DH is ready to strangle me!!!

My DVC buddy in my town and I have always thought we should have our GUYS guide to Disney web site. We both have way to much information. I have guides for friends and my wife says I should charge for my pamphlets and guides. My feeling is I want everyone to enjoy WDW and in my opinion the only way to do that is with some planning because you can get so overwhelmed with all that is there to do. Luckily for me and my family I had a teacher that sat down with me one planning period and said "You can't do everything unless you stay for a couple of weeks so pick what you want to do and go back."

You can be our guest blogger or contributing guide lol. Our wives think we are crazy as well as our conversations are always about Disney or Baseball.

Dang now I have to go teach class. Maybe I will use a disney question for my warm-up.

My DVC buddy in my town and I have always thought we should have our GUYS guide to Disney web site. We both have way to much information. I have guides for friends and my wife says I should charge for my pamphlets and guides. My feeling is I want everyone to enjoy WDW and in my opinion the only way to do that is with some planning because you can get so overwhelmed with all that is there to do. THATS HOW I FEEL, I REALLY ENJOY PASSING ON MY EXPERIENCES OF DISNEY AND HOPEFULLY MY KNOWLEDGE MIGHT HELP SOMEONE ON THEIR TRIP TO DISNEY. IVE LEARNED A LOT ON HERE. I DONT CARE IF SOME SAY IM OBSESSED. IF I PUT A SMILE ON JUST ONE PERSONS FACE IM HAPPY.

TERRIE I JUST GOT MY D23 CERTIFICATE IT CAME WITH A LARGE MAGAZINE FOR SPRING 2010. GREAT MAGAZINE!!!!!!

SCOTT , WE WERE IN MARYLAND 3 YEARS AGO IN ANNAPOLIS AND STAYED ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE GOVENORS MANSION. WE REALLY ENJOYED IT THERE. WE WERE THERE DURING BOAT WEEK. HAD MANY MEALS OF CRAB CAKES WE ATE IN THAT SMALL NY STLE RESTAURANT I FORGET THE COUPLES NAMES WHO THE PLACE IS NAMED AFTER AND STILL RUN IT. ITS VERY NARROW AND SERVICE IS VERY FRIENDLY AND GOOD FOOD. ONE OF THESE DAYS WE WILL GET BACK THERE. FUNNY THOU LEAVING THERE I GOT LOST, DID THE CIRCLE AROUND WASHINGTON AND THEN BACK AROUND BALTIMORE. IT WAS BUSY AND WE DIDNT KNOW WHERE WE WERE GOING.

Marsha as I wrote to deernut I was looking at the pictures he posted. In the group picture I am standing behind you in the brown skirt my DH is the one with the legs!! I was also reading the cabin assignments I didn't include that both my DH & I are celebrating our 60th birthdays on the cruise. My DD-DSIL-DGD are in cabin 8070 and my DM is in 8066. My DS & DDIL were supposed to join us too but they are expecting in October so we have to cancel their cabin, they will meet us at OKW after.
