Being reported on news now. Not on regular channels, just turned on Fox News. Has been reported by Reuters, boat has been called 'suspicious' in other reports. Today of all days...

Good Lord what freakin' idiots! Now they're saying it was simply a training exercise? On 9/11? By closing down the airport? By being right near the bridge where the President's motorcade was driving at about that time? By being near the Pentagon? Somebody's damn head needs to roll if this was, indeed, a training exercise. I have a hard time believing that there were no shots fired, which the Coast Guard is also saying. Either way, if it was a training exercise that was really, really bad timing and communication.

Unbelievable. I'm just speechless at the ridiculousness of holding a training exercise right there on the Potomac, near key buildings (not to mention the President and other people attending 9/11 memorials), ON September 11!
Who thought THAT would be a good idea?
