08/03/2010 - Wonder - Who needs The Baltic when you've got Key West??

What about around 2 pm in the Promenade? That way it's a bit later for those not boarding early, allows for lunch or some swimming and still gives the DVC members time to get to the celebration? People can pop in and out as they can for that half hour to an hour.;)

Works for us. :thumbsup2

How about everyone else? Sound like a plan? 2 pm at the Promenade?

Sounds good to me as well!

And what the heck!? I didn't get an invite to the Member Celebration! :(

I'm good, not sure what will happen with my 2 younger kids that will be coming from Old Key West. They want to meet some new friends, but grandparents will take them to lunch at parrot cay as soon as they get there. Who will be bringing their kids and what ages to the meet?

Who are the families that are staying at Country Inn and Suites the night before ( we will be there 2 nights)? Are some of you the ones that work at WDW? I know my DD 18 would love to hear more about your experiences.

I am so excited, we leave Saturday to drive down:cool1::cool1::cool1: Glad I am driving with all the FE stuff and just about everything we own except for the 2 dogs and 5 cats. Poor babies have to stay here!! pirate:

Was anyone else interested in Jet skiing at Key West. We are going to book it privately. Then snorkeling at Nassau, maybe rent the water bicycle at Castaway for DD 10's birthday.

Looks like the 2 PM time works for everyone...so let's call it a date! 2 PM Promenade it is! My sister who hasnt been on the thread is bringing her 13 year old son. My bunch is madeup of 20 somethings...boys looking for girls to hang out with! Any 20 something girlsplanning on coming to the meet to tempt them to come to the meet?

I have a rather shy 18 year old daughter so not much enticement there.:rotfl: She is quite and Artsy, loves her computer and wants to be an animation artist. She is starting community college in the fall. Are the boys still in college? If so do you know what they are studying?

Yes, 2 out of 3 are in college. My son is studying electronic engineering, his friend is in business. The third one is a whiz at mechanical stuff. The 3 of them have dreams of becoming millionaires! I'm hoping it comes true so I can retire!:cool1:

I'd be happy if mine can just support themselves! Although I have told the gymnast that she owes me a nice nursing home for all of the money and frustration that she has put me through, so she better keep working her butt off!!:rotfl:

We will be towing our 2 boys along (5 & 7), we are one of the Disney couples but we will drive over day of, I am actually in Miami on business until the day before. :sad2:

I need to change our room # for FE. We are now in 8020. We were in 6644.
See you all Tuesday in the Promenade at 2pm.
One quick question on FE, we are doing it for adults and children? No just children? I am trying to go back and read the older post, but I can't figure it out.

Thanks,
Carol

I'm bringing a gift for each stateroom, whether it contains adults only or adults and kids.

We will be at the Country Inn & Suites on Monday night. My hubby & I both work for WDW. We will be checking in sometime Mon afternoon. We have a little blonde "fish" so I am sure we will be at the pool quite a bit.

2pm in the Promenade Lounge works for us! Kayla will be with us at the meet...she just turned 6 on July 8th. I cannot wait to get onboard!

:thumbsup2 Updated the list on page 20! Did you get a free upgrade? I did a gift per stateroom. Whatever you decide is fine! It's all in fun!
