Over the last several years, The DIS/DIS Unplugged has raised thousands of dollars for Give Kids The World, a 70-acre non-profit resort in central Florida where children with life-threatening illnesses and their families are treated to cost-free fantasy vacations.
Here's a chance for DISers all over the country to meet other DISers in their area AND raise money for a great cause.
Coasting For Kids is a fundraiser put together by GKTW and hosted at 11 different Cedar Fair Parks across the country. Sign up, ask your friends to donate (or join you), then ride coasters at your favorite Cedar Fair Park.
Details:
This year, Coasting For Kids is June 7th!
Registration is $25, which covers admission to the Park, event t-shirt and lunch.
Be sure to select team: The DIS Coasterpalooza 3.0
After you register, you must raise a minimum of only $75 to be able to participate in the event.
Last year we had 38 DISers who participated at 7 different Cedar Fair Parks and raised over $7,000!
