Just pulled up the spreadsheet for the FE exchange and might I say...Wow John!! I consider myself a borderline OCD organization freak, but I humbly bow to your superior organizational skills. I see you were just in it. Did you see the last 4 tabs? I REALLY don't feel like working today at work. So worked on spreadsheet. Last 5 tabs are all the kids sorted by DCL Club age. Kids that overlap clubs are on both tabs. Hoping this might help out those looking for penpals in the next few months.

Hey folks!

I added 4 tabs to the spreadsheet with all the kids sorted by DCL Club age. If the cruiser happens to span two clubs (11 & 12 yr olds in two clubs) then they would be on both tabs. I used the ages of the kids that are on the spreadsheet, but those ages might be CURRENT ages. We should standardize on age at time of cruise to make sure they are all sorted correctly. Just send me a PM and I'll fix it right up.

It won't be long and we'll be able to book our shore excursions! I've picked out a few options for Cozumel & Falmouth, but there doesn't seem to be many choices for GC. Hubby and I have been there before, but the kiddos haven't. Anyone already made some great plans for GC that you would like to share?

WELCOME ALL! I see DizDaddy's been hard at work and got you on the roll call list. I finally got around to updating the spreadsheet for the FE Exchange (link is in my signature below). Kelly: I'll need your cabin number when you have it so we know where to deliver all the goodies. For those looking for information, open the spreadsheet linked in my signature below and look at the third tab (bottom of spreadsheet). There are links to all sorts of good information on Fish Extenders and gifts, along with general cruising tips. Once April 6th rolls around, I'll split the list into managable groups (no more than 20 cabins each, more like 15) and then you'll see who you'll be delivering to (sorry, sister Liz would have a fit "and then you'll see to whom you will deliver"). Getting closer now. Can't wait until 99 days to go so we can start using DizDaddy/Sues14 FE gift from last time! We use it for all our trips and cruises.

Starting to get nervous...the kids had another snow day today, and the forecast is calling for a major winter storm this weekend. If we have to change the date to July it's gonna cost another $2000! UGH!!

We were still on holiday break, but other schools in the area were closed. I've got my fingers crossed we don't have any snow days, but I won't change our trip...kids will just have to miss a couple days of school.

We live 20 miles out of Chicago and have been hit hard with a winter storm. Also we will have record wind chills tomorrow. School has already been cancelled for tomorrow but fortunately we will be making it up on Martin Luther King Day. I was excited to hear that since I am already pulling my son out of school 1.5 days before school is out so we can start our vacation early. Hope the weather is holding up for the rest of you! We are looking forward to our trip!

Cold here in Philly too (1°F here this morning, with negative wind chill), but last night I heard Chicago would be -64° with the wind chill. Colder than the South Pole! It'll be 80°F at Castaway Cay this weekend. (had to edit . . . that's a 144° difference in temperature!)

Just crossed my mind as we're getting closer to the cruise. For those that are driving from WDW, you can get a SunPass at Publix and other stores. There is a small one that is not 'removable' to use in different cars, and a larger one that can be transferred from car to car. You can also get the larger one to use in your rental car if need be.

Certainly makes the tolls easier, though the cash lanes didn't slow us down that much. We had a lot of dollar coins as well as quarters for the tolls ready, so could use the exact change lanes. I think we'll get a SunPass since we can't seem to stop cruising!
