After the 2 day cruise to nowhere next weekend I can really start to focus on this adventure. And do minor tasks...like book my flight home!

I found this website with a tourist map of Victoria I thought I would share with everyone.

Keep in mind the terminal is not really on the map, it is in an inset on the map. So if you are walking know your distances.

There is a list being compiled for the FE's... It's definitely being managed, just cant remember who it is that is managing it at the moment!

I think personally it would be easier to split into smaller groups, even by deck... Since running to 100+ cabins every day would drive me batty!!!

I am the one handling the Repo Roster for the FE exchange. I am not on the Alaska cruise, so that will need to fall to somebody else. The intent is one gift per cabin during the 6-day journey. The spirit of the FE exchange is not to go broke. In my past experiences, some people gave to individuals, some gave to the cabin as a whole, some gave for special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) Yet, I prefer a roster without rules. Basically:

I provide the Repo Roster for the Fe exchange... you do what you feel comfortable with doing.

I just realized I planned on bringing ours and giving out gifts and neglected to sign up. I think I have too many cruises planned or something... I'm not used to that and I'm falling down on my duties as master planner of the family!

Current Repo Roster by Room for FE exchange. Per my preference... rules are that there are no rules! (Except all rum must be deposited at my door... oh wait, we are not in the Caribbean... never mind.)

Give gifts per cabin, per person, 1 per cruise length, 1 per day (if you are rich!), or not at all! Above all, don't stress! You are on vacation.

Has anyone ever booked their tours through viator? Would you recommend them? We were thinking of doing a hop on hop of thing in SF, the ticket is valid for two days.

I think I used them for the hop on hop off in Copenhagen, booked on line and got voucher. If I recall correctly I saved about 10%.

#1: are you flying in a day prior or two days prior?


#2: are you staying @ a resort or hotel near the airport?


#2(a): if staying near the airport, possible that DW & I could get with you to go to Disneyland, we should be to the hotel around 1:00pm (I know it is late)


#3: does anybody know what type of transportation they have a hotel near the airport to Disneyland?

flying all this way (from VA) and not go ing to Disneyland doesn't make sense.

We are flying in the day before, staying near the port. 99% of the time we use super shuttle when visiting DL. You can book and prepay on line. Works for us.

Are you flying and staying near LAX or Orange County(aka John Wayne aka Santa Ana)? It makes a difference. It is over an hour from LAX to Disneyland. If you are flying into Orange County we generally get a rental car because it is easier and about the same cost as Super Shuttle. We have used Super Shuttle a lot and it works well most of the time.
If you want to spend some time at DL I would fly in two days before if your schedule allows. One note you will be there during spring break so it will be crowded. Sue
