04/27/11 DCL's WONDERful LA-VANCOUVER REPO ON THE WAY TO ALAKSA

I want to be post 1000!

And so you are! :thumbsup2

Lynn, I have to start getting my head around to the Alaska portion of this adventure. I've been thinking so much about SF and Vancouver and I need to look at our Alaska ports. I think partially, for me, because I'll be on a tight budget, I haven't looked at off ship actvities much. And maybe there is a little fear that the second leg might have to be cancelled. But I know I need to go ahead and plan 'as if' I will be able to do the entire adventure. As my good friend Woody taught me, book the cruise you want and allow for it to happen! :upsidedow

.

That's so true, Jackie! Visualize it and you'll find a way to make it happen. There's lots to do on your own I think without getting expensive excursions!

and birdmen? :confused3

Hey Kid, thought you were in Mexico on "the other" Dream.
Did Les make it thru Cinco De Mayo? :lmao:

Bob...me go a week without internet!!!!!
yes...Les made it through Cinco de Mayo...but did have some drama on the cruise....I'll leave it to her to explain what happened.

I thought Scott was planning a really KEWL excursion to Alcatraz!!!!

Get ready to make a boat out of rain coats:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Just throwing this out there.

Maybe if Disney reads this board, they might like this idea. I was just watching Amazing Race and loved the Star Wars challenge, and I thought that it might be cool to tour Lucas Film Studio in San Francisco. I checked their website, and they don't allow public tours :sad2: . Now Disney is in good with Lucas Films (or at least Star Wars), so I was wondering if they would/could arrange a private tour?? They did pull off the impossible with a Jim Henson studio tour on the Back Stage Magic Adventure by Disney after all.

What do you think? If they pulled it off, who would be interested?

Count me and my daughter in for 2 seats on this tour!

:yoda: :yoda:

That challenge was cool! We might be up for that tour! Can't resist this one - did you see the joke on May 4th? "May the 4th be with you." :rotfl2:

Hi all

We have been a little slow to post to DISboards ... but TADsMommy (Karen), TADsDaddy (Dave) and TAD: Tiffany (18), Ashley (17) and David (15) will be joining the fun onboard the Wonder B2B Pacific Coast and Alaska.

I see many old friends and look forward to catching up with everyone - and many new friends I look forward to meeting onboard.

I have a cajillion pages to read. Please put us down for "everything". We will meet&greet, gift you all in fish extenders, play doortag, take group photos ... and anything else that someone comes up with.

We are so excited!! Canceled both January 7day Magic and June doubledip for this year so we could afford B2B Alaska!! :cheer2::dance3::cheer2:

We are in DCL withdrawals, but it will be worth it. :goodvibes

I am going to post this same message to both boards. Don't want to miss out on anything for either cruise.

I feel your pain! We want to do so much in Alaska too... but may not be able to. Right now we are booked on both cruises, as the year continues we will better know how to plan.

Sounds to me like she is DEMANDING that we HAVE FUN!!

Works for me!! :woohoo:

Welcome aboard to all our new cruisers! :hippie:

I am starting to "think" about the scrapbooking portion for the cruise.

Will get there eventually. Just organized my scrapbook room again, getting ready to move this summer. Have sold the house and am trying to decide on the new one. Down to the final decisions, but can't decide what to do. Now, if it was deciding about DCL, that would have been easy!

Hi Linda :goodvibes

Should have known you would be onboard!! I am looking forward to having you show me the "Magic" ahem I mean the "Wonder" :wizard: of scrapbooking yet again ... the last page I made was on the PC crossing. :rotfl:
