Good evening Cruisers!

Well, we had our 3 days of "fall" weather and now we're back up in the 80's here at the World.... However I do see many people in the parks wearing fur boots... is that a fashion thing now?? Just don't get it... esp here in FLORIDA!!! They really look strange with shorts...

oops...better go an unpack the suitcase....wouldn't want to embarass Leslie!!!!

Hello cruisers! I am reading all the posts but not posting much because I am a first time cruiser and have no clue. Also I'm 30 days out from my first WDW Christmas. Thanks for the tip on leaving the fur boots at home.

I am so happy that I have this cruise to look forward to. It will help with the sadness when the Christmas trip is through -- over a year in planning -- and soon we will be done.

Any cruise things I should look at while at WDW or just ooh and aah over the busses?

Very interesting reading all the posts about the furry boots! Needless to say I am as far from being a Fashionista as one can get! If it's not made by Crocs... I don't wear it!

I have never seen those furry boots in Tucson AZ so when we go to WDW on 12/2 I guess we wouldnt be taking them along!!

Can anyone suggest a good restaurant in WDW? We haven't been to WDW in 5 yrs. We will be staying at SSR on DVC points and we never been there.

Can anyone suggest a good grocerer so they can deliver our groceries the day we get there?

Had a great time at our house party. Hope we win the cruise. Cannot wait until 12/3 for our DCL cruise.

If you go to the DVC Member website, there is a grocery order form. You can fill it out and the stuff will be there waiting for you!

As for restaurants... LOTS of good stuff! Depends on what kind of meal you want and how much you want to spend! Everyone has their personal favorites! I live here so we eat all around the World all the time. Have you checked out any of the menus on any of the websites that are out there. If you like, PM me and I'll give you some suggestions, don't want to take up Cruise thread space...

I love Jiko at Animal Kingdom. I think it might be free dining still when you are there so you may want to go online and make a couple of ADRs.

I am using wegoshop when we go to WDW in 30 days. You can get adult beverages from them. I don't think you can from DVC. Ours is a family trip so I definitely want some adult beverages.

Thanks Lisa. Jika is our favorate place. We have PS's there the night we board DCL (we did this with a special friend 5 years ago! Hi Janet!!).

I will check wegoshop. DVC store doesnt have all we want. Don't want adult beverages want Dr Pepper and Starbucks coffee!!!

Thanks again. We have several PS's but things have changed in 5 years.

You will love WDW at Christmas!

Yes, ooh and aah over the busses. We play a game called "I Spy Disney Cruise Line Bus" everytime we are in Florida. It's a fun game and becomes quite competitive when we are there. Especially when we head over to the terminal. Bonus points are awarded for the first person who spies the Disney Cruise Ship in port!

I'd got the third degree crossing today and the guy was ready to lift the carpet in the bacl of the van to see if I had stow'n'go seats....he also gave me a hard time about Woody's homemade doggie biscuits and the buttertarts...but he finally let me though....

Sitting at the airport in Buffalo waiting for my flight....Google is offering free internet for the holidays in the airport so it is kinda KEWL passing the time "surfing" the net!!!!!
