02/10/07 Western An apology to anyone that was witness my SIL's dreadful behavior

I know like 5 people like this, for real, that want things there way, but if I was on the cruise and saw this, I am sorry to say I'd be watching if I saw someone yelling.

It kind of reminds me of when I went to disney world in like 2000 I think, we were at dinner and this mom and dad were having a fight, it's really hard not to watch for me, I mean the people were so loud

Go to the Pirate pics post and she is the 3rd pic down in the ones I posted. My poor DB looks wasted in the shot because she showed her tail again that night and he was slamming Bahama Mamas. All day we were planning a group photo with Jack Sparrow and exact meeting times. Well, all of us are gathered in the hall, 15 minutes before pics end, and she pokes her head out and asks if we are going to wait for her. We told her to meet us and, of course, she didn't show. I think she thought we were waiting somewhere and wouldn't take the pic without her. Wrong. That was day 5 and we knew what to expect. We aren't the smartest group but we are fast learners.

We like to say it's like watching a train wreak. You just can't turn away. I learned to turn my face very quickly to the person to my other side when ever she would say something rude. I got it down to an art.

He was hilarious. You guys really looked like you were having a great time. I also remember the Natalie incident. We didn't sit too far from you guys at most of the shows. If you remember the guy with the guitar show, we were the two on the side from California.

How much did you hear with the Natalie incident? I never know if it's my imagination or if her voice is really that loud and shrill. I bet my friends/family and I must have apoligized to Natalie every night for the rest of the cruise. She is just so sweet and looked like someone had slapped her in the face when my SIL said that. I wrote her a letter today to apologize just one more time. No one should be spoke to like that.

She bought it online. The top of the fishnet hose have a black band with a gold skull and crossbones on it. Very cool. The guy she is with got his online for $14.99 and then his grandfather bought the same outfit (see group photo) for $70.00. Lots of laughs over that one.

She is one of the CMs at Rockin D. Very small sweet girl. I honestly don't remember what color her hair is because I saw her in so many wigs. I want to say that we saw her at the theater and it was black.

Natalie's hair is black and she also was at Sail Away party - I'm Scott's mom, sorry we missed the Disboard greet. We got so involved in being on board, we forgot. Don't worry about SIL - most people probably didn't pay any attention to her. Natalie is probably also used to being turned down in Rockin Bar D - when Ashley has to get someone to dance with her, she sometimes has a lot of no's before she gets a yes. I guess people are shy. Also, I want to thank you for all you encouragement in the "drama" we had getting on this cruise.

Very pleased to met you! I'm so glad you were able to go. You must be so proud of your daughter. Every time I saw a young man sitting alone by the adult pool, I wanted to ask "Are you Scott?". There was one guy that I noticed that was there with a book quite a lot. I didn't want to look like an idiot (saved that for the Rockin D). Thanks for the kind words. I understand when people turn the dancers down. I'm a big woman and therefore make a big target on that dance floor. I was scrambling to hide when those guys would walk my way. There's a kind way to do that and no need to be rude to those poor girls. I guess SIL thought after one dance my brother would be so swept away that he would rush to leave her and marry Natalie. It just must happen all the time. Natalie told my cousin that she had never had anyone speak to her like that and it took a little while for her to come back out to dance. I wrote a letter to the cruise line praising all the CMs at the Rockin D and I hope they get recognized.

No place to hide now Scott! Were you reading by the adult pool? Did anyone happen to tape that skit "If I were not upon the sea" on the final night? I'm dying to get my hands on that and Christiaan doing the Thriller dance. I have a pic of the Thriller dance and the guy next to us was taping it. Not too proud to beg....

Yankee Gal - we were in the 80's party in Rockin Bar D when Christian did the Thriller dance, in fact one of those dancers behind him reminded me of someone who used to live at my house -

Doesn't everyone think Christian is a great Cruise Director. I was impressed.

All of us, unfortunately, seem to have one of those SIL'S.

We never had the PRIVILEDGE of traveling with her...but....

My DH is a pharmacist. In South Carolina, pharmacists are considered doctors....don't ask me why, I have no idea, never heard of it until we moved here, and he will tell you he is NOT a Doctor.... but at our nephews wedding, SIL insisted on introducing DH as DOCTOR....and then that started all the questions, what is your practice, can you tell me about this pain I have. you know, all the doctor questions. So, he had to take her over in the corner and have a LITTLE CHAT with her.

She didn't care one bit about him and how embarrassed he and I(she especially didn't care anything about me) were, but she wanted the glory and prestige of having a brother who was/is a DOCTOR.... I still bring this up to
DH when he gets the BIG HEAD.....and starts thinking that for some reason he's important!!!!!

You folks may already know this, but that was Natalie's first week onboard Magic...She had just transfered from the Wonder. We were onboard the Wonder with her and had a chat with her the night before she left to head over there.
