Not sure about the first two, but Humphrey was in several cartoon shorts in the 1950s. My favorite is the one where Donald Duck is a honey farmer and Humphrey just can’t help himself into stealing some honey. This episode and a few others are on Disney+. He is the official mascot of Wilderness Lodge. Is the construction why I was able to get a room in December last minuteI did request boulder ridge view, but its because its what I actually wanted, I didnt know there would be construction.
Does anyone know why they decided not to do the life size gingerbread this year?
Also, who is that Humphrey bear character, is that from a movie or is he just for the resort?

Just FYI, it's a lot louder close to the dock (boat whistles/horns), so if you have light sleepers... and it starts early!Any recommendations on a cabin location request? The App offers a choice of None or South Side. I just left it blank, but I'd like to be as close to the boat dock as possible. Is the dock on the south side? Should I call to request close to the dock? We're going in March. How far in advance should I call if I should?
That makes sense! Thanks.Just FYI, it's a lot louder close to the dock (boat whistles/horns), so if you have light sleepers... and it starts early!
Here's a photo from my walk over to Roaring Fork for coffee a few minutes ago.It was reported on FB scaffolding is going back up on the CCV side.

Too funny! We love the sounds of the boat horns. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯At least you won’t have to listen to boat horns all day, should be peaceful.
Here now, can confirm this is accurate as of 12/12! I actually took a picture earlier to post, it looks identical to this, and alot of glare, so I won’t.
We were there last week and the scaffolding was minimal; I wouldn’t worry about it.Oh no.. Checking in here in a few days and don't remember seeing any notices about exterior refurbishment. I try to avoid staying during them as there's just too many great on-site options to deal with the eyesore.
They boats do run during the EEH. The park isn't busy for EEH, CM's check wristbands or room keys to make sure everyone is staying in a deluxe resort to ride. They do not ask non deluxe guests to leave at park close (like they do for special events), but there really isn't much for them to do, so they tend to leave. It's much better than the Epcot EEH where it is still busy for most of the 2 hours. Depending on what time you leave the MK, the boats can be quite full.Hello fellow CCV lovers!
I am planning a trip this summer with some close friends. We are hoping extended evening hours return to MK on Wednesday like they have been the past. Can anyone tell me if the boat that runs from MK to WL still runs during EEH and if so, how busy does it get? Thanks!
Thanks for the reply! I’ve done EEH before and took the bus back to AK and it was quite packed. Any experience with the boats if we stay til the end of EEH?They boats do run during the EEH. I do have experience! Chances are, depending on when you leave, it will be standing room. We were there for 2 EMH, one night we left about an hour into the event (it was our arrival day and we were tired) and the boat was not completely full. The following Wednesday we stayed until the end and it was packed, so much so that there was zero standing room left, they loaded as many people on as they could. I also think the bus was running, but I can't confirm that. Thanks for the reply! I’ve done EEH before and took the bus back to AK and it was quite packed.
