So CCV are getting a soft refurb in 2025, correct? I'm guessing murphy beds will be installed. Does anyone know what month this is set to begin? Thanks!
2025, No dates announced yet. Some people know how to find when rooms are being pulled from inventory, so we'll have a good guess 11 months out (so unlikely to be Jan/Feb).So CCV are getting a soft refurb in 2025, correct? Not all of them. You can see some of the higher fireworks from some, the cabins on the end closer to FW really don't have a view of them. Some of the cabins closer to the waterway between the WL and the CR have an obstructed view. The bungalows will have a much better view, if that is your priority. And FYI, the hot tubs don't get that hot.Fans of the CC Cabins, please help me with a quick question - can you see the MK fireworks from the patio of the cabins at CC? I thought I had to book the Poly bungalows for that kind of view, but I would much prefer a hot tub to a dipping pool.

Never thought to do that! Good to know!I can't say whether they still do this, but when we stayed in the cabins a few years ago, we were able to get maintenance to adjust the water temp for us. I don't remember exactly, but I think we called Housekeeping to request this.
hard to say, size of resorts and unexpected situations can occur (like what appears to be happening at BWV right now). I would guestimate for a soft good refurb at a resort the size of CCV, that it will take them around 3-4 months though once work begins.New to DVC (and CCV)…how long do refurbs generally take?
Hi all. Just wanted to update the post above. It appears some exterior work has started. Posts on Facebook from guests currently at WL wrote today they began painting or restaining the exterior. They stated there are 2 cranes right outside Sturdy Branches. Updated to add they are currently working on BRV. That’s all that was posted. I’ll update if any additional information is given.Exterior Refurbishment of Disney's Wilderness Lodge Buildings to Begin on June 3, 2024
Guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in the coming months should keep in mind that, to ensure facilities are maintained to the highest quality standards, exterior refurbishment work will take place at Disney's Wilderness Lodge beginning June 3, 2024. Disney hasn't specified when this project will be completed, but it is expected to be mostly done by the end of the year (weather permitting).
During that time, Guests may be able to hear or see construction work taking place around the resort until the work is completed. Alternate paths of travel will also be available when walkways are impacted by this refurbishment project.
