Wanted to post room views from room 3113, a dedicated 2 bedroom. Very quiet, close to elevators and buses which was a plus. Couldn’t see much of the pool or the lake but we really enjoyed it.

Also, for anyone wondering, this is the fireworks view from outdoor seating at geyser point. This was my favorite spot of the week. I sat out here 3 different nights. Sure beats that mess in MK and most the time was almost empty

Take this with a grain of salt as it came from a boat Capt., which in my mind is just slightly more reliable than a bus driver.

There are no current plans to reopen the resort loop supposedly because the Contemporary Resort doesn't want to pay for it. Remember, grain of salt.

Considering our first stay at copper creek - family of 4 with my dad (81 yo), so a 2BR. Do you all have any recommendations between a 2br standard or lockoff? My kids (7, 11) share the second bedroom with Granddad.

The lock off room will have a kitchenette in it. Also the second bedroom should have two queen beds in the standard vs. one queen bed and a pullout sofa( or Murphy bed) in the lock off. I do not know if CCV has the Murphy beds or not.

CCV does not have the Murphy beds. You'll have a sleeper sofa in the living room and the 2nd BR will have either 2 queens in a dedicated 2BR or 1 queen and 1 sleeper sofa in the lock off. I'd go for a dedicated 2 BR so you get the extra actual bed.

Dedicated. Two actual queen beds. Plus, the bathroom in the second bedroom is great; there are two vanities, one on either side. We found the room super functional for four adults. The two staying in the primary bedroom said they preferred ours!

Thank you! I was thinking we could move the chairs around and fit one between the sofa and table. The hallway might be an option. It's good to know there are a few ways we can configure the pack-n-play in the room. Much appreciated!

You could put it in the closet, they are very large from my experience in 1BR's. Kind of nice because if you want to stay up, you can close the door and then open it once you go to sleep. Kind of like a very small extra bedroom! My 15 year old nephew wanted to sleep in it....

This was our second time booking a 1 bedroom villa, and unfortunately, we chose to request a room change after being booked in 6100. The layout seemed smaller than our previous 1 bedroom (I do not recall which room that was), and the bathroom sinks had zero counter space. In addition, the balconies overlooked the bus stop, which was noisy, and since it opened to the lobby, there was noise from there as well. The couch was also worn and torn. We were able to move to 6125 the second day after making the change request. I am including some photos for reference. We have never requested a room change before, so this was a first for us. I am happy to find this forum, and look forward to researching more here about the various room options. Is it possible to make room requests when booking?

Yes, we were in 6100, which was a dedicated 1bedroom near the elevators on the 6th floor, opening to the lobby. Good to know about the ability to make requests. I am fine with differences in layouts, but the sink area differences were so drastic! Zero counter space or storage area for toiletries for either sink. Also, the noise from the buses and the lobby were too much. Will definitely plan to make requests to not be similar rooms in the future.

Just got back and I need to know if it's just my family - does everyone else's skin get destroyed while on vacation? This is the first time I experienced it so intensely and wondering if it was the Lodge itself. All of us have dry skin, but we normally don't need to do anything special.

This time our skin was cracking with blood and we actually had to get real Eucerin cream delivered - the H2O stuff is a joke.

My hair was weird. The whole thing was off. Coming from NY I know what dry air is like and this was way more intense. As soon as I washed my hands I immediately felt a change in my skin.

My skin and hair hate the H2O. I don’t even have high maintenance hair. The body gel is also a bust as it made me itch. I use the bar of hand soap (and only on my hands) and that’s as far as I willing to go with that product line. I don’t know the scents but I think one was blue and one was green.

Also don’t forget FL water has a high sulfur content. That may be a problem for sensitive or already dry skin as well. Lord knows it tastes awful

Copper Creek Springs Pool - The main pool, heated, with a 67-foot waterslide built into the rocks! Two whirlpool spas are also available.

Boulder Ridge Cove Pool - *New* This pool is a zero-entry pool, has 6 shaded seating areas (which are first come first serve), as well as a whirlpool spa.

Kids Water Play Area - Fun area for small children! Includes small water slides and a large bucket that pours water over the children below!
