Kinda , but somewhat related. As late as last week, the globe wasn't opening for the finale, but last night and the night before, it did. Still no fireworks launched from the center flame though. Hope they get that part working before the new Frozen party begins. It's one of my favorite parts.

Me too! We booked the same date. I'm pretty sure I had to be in the first wave of ADRs. The first time I tried it wasn't open yet. I waited a few minutes (but I'm really impatient, so, it probably was 1 minute) and it was open.

At JBJB we were a party of two and had the whole table to ourselves. Some of the reason for that is that people wanted all the other chairs. TBH, I don't care that much about a table or even a seat once I've eaten and the show begins.

That party was open seating, find a table you like and take it. Due to the limited space, the Frozen party will be more like CV and will be assigned seating.

a. More dates will be opened for October? My friend is going the weekend of the 27th and had her heart set on doing the party.
b. When the dates for December will open up? I have three other friends going the first two weeks in December.

If the planners feel that the demand will be met with the current Oct schedule, it's unlikely that they'll add dates. If not, they might.

There were people there last night, it was sold out. I'm not able to give you a review, but it did take place. Unfortunately, like the other outdoor special events held last night, it was moved indoors to the second floor inside the Norway pavilion where the dessert portion of the party took place. About 15 minutes before Illuminations, guests are escorted to the private Illuminations viewing area and then escorted back to experience the FEA attraction. Hopefully it'll take place at the normal outdoor location tomorrow night.

The Illuminations dessert party has taken place in Dec since it began. That doesn't mean that this year will be the same, but I can't think of a reason why it would be any different.
